Apple Cider Vinegar with 'Mother' - 5 litre Plastic Jerry Can

Bobby's Apple Cider Vinegar is my absolute MUST HAVE item in my life!!! I've lost track of how many gallons of this stuff I've bought now, but I wouldn't go without it any more! It keeps me feeling the healthiest I ever have done, has minimised my Meniere's attacks (I've only had one minor one in the last year since taking this), protects me from all the bugs I come into contact with working at school and that my kiddies bring home(!), and on top of that the weight-loss has been absolutely amazing!!! I've really noticed the way it's annihilated the "dimply" bits I used to have on my legs and whoever said "no pain no gain" obviously never tried this stuff!!!! It's great that it's British too, having discovered the US stuff first, but I much prefer the "richer smoother" taste of Bobby's ACV. I can't recommend it enough, it puts a zest and bounce back in your step and really gets you up and at it first thing in the mornings!!! I put a tiny bit of cold water in a glass with the ACV and a spoonful of honey as well and just knock it back in one, every morning, after lunch and again later in the evening. I don't bother with the litre bottles any more and just get the 5-litre containers so I never run out!!!!!! My hubby takes it as well and has helped him loose loads of weight, and, oh yes, if you ever get one of those annoying tickly coughs that keep you awake at night, try ACV for that as well, as it just seems to wash the irritation completely away! I've not had one cough since taking this and am always spouting on about it to all my colleagues and friends who keep going down with various bugs!!!! I think doctors should be prescribing this stuff and we'd have a much healthier nation on our hands!!!!!!!!

I began taking apple cider vinegar about one and a half years ago for its general health benefits. This is one of the only brands that comes with the mother (which is a lump of bacteria that lives in the vinegar) it looks a bit gross at first but when you think about it we all have healthy bactaria in our guts so it isnt so bad. I mix a tablespoon in warm water and drink it, my wife just knocks it back like a shot. My wife and I where so impressed with the results we started giving to our 7 year old son who would regularly get coughs which would always develop into a chest infection and take weeks to get over. Our son very rarely gets a cough now and when he does it goes within a few days. Needless to say our whole family uses it and I often recommend it to friends. This is a bargain compared to the smaller bottles and lasts ages. We store ours on a window cill because sunlight helps the mother grow and also makes the vinegar taste much nicer.

Yeah..... I don't know, mine smells and tastes like its still alcoholic. I think it hasn't finished fermenting, I should have got in touch with the company but I forgot to. It tasted nice, weak, but you can tell the apples used are good quality. I've got it sitting in the corner of my room with a bit of "mother" from a different ACV added to it in the hope the fermentation process will finish up. So a bit dissapointed, bought another brand I trust in the mean time.

I use this to rebalance my skins PH and it works a treat. It leaves my hair and scalp smooth & soft and got rid of my dandruff which i have been battling with for years using western medicine. Also drinking it with water gives me energy and seems to stop the pain in my knee joints.

When I started using ACV, Bobby's was the first brand I used based on the great Amazon reviews - I really loved the authentic cider aroma and taste, using it for all my salad dressings. I found I was ordering lots of the 1 litre bottles, but didn't feel I could justify spending over £30 for a 5 litre jerry can of VINEGAR, so ordered the Biona 5 litre bottle of ACV which was much better value at around £11. However, I soon realised that you really do get what you pay for. Although the Biona ACV was OK and lasted around 6 months, the taste of the vinegar was sharp and vinegar-y (I know it's vinegar, but regular ACV users will know what I mean!), and there was just a hint of mother in the bottle that didn't grow in the time that I was using it. When this bottle ran out, I decided to go back to Bobby's. It had been 6 months since I last used it, so it was a real pleasure to opened the bottle and smelt the familiar apple cider aroma once more. I still had a little of the Biona ACV left so I could compare the two, and there really is no comparison... Bobby's all the way! Only one thing I would say that Biona has definitely got right over Bobby's is their 5 litre bottle is WAY more user friendly than the Bobby's jerry can. So much so that I washed it out and decanted the Bobby's vinegar into it. So if there's anyone from Bobby's reading this - please can we get this in a 5 litre jerry can with a spout??? :)

I've been drinking apple cider vinegar for about 5 years now and had a range of different brands in that time. I can say without hesitation that this is the best flavour I have ever tasted. The smell and taste of actual apples comes through (it reminds me of the smell of home made apple crumble fresh out of the oven!). The texture is not at all watery and there is no tartness in the taste. I can't recommend enough and will definitely repurchase.
