Great replacement for my old handle, some adjustments needed
Some advice for prospective buyers and DIY’ers:I had to do a bit of research before determining which handle I needed. Turns out there is a 70pz (70mm size handle) which is just 2mm off this 68pz, so it’s crucial you measure and measure again to make sure you have the right sized handle. The spindle supplied was a little longer than my existing one (to allow for thicker doors I imagine) but was no problem after I cut a section off with a hacksaw - be careful not to cut off too much. I reused the original screws I had as the screws supplied were a bit longer but I couldn’t be bothered to cut those too. When offering up the handle on both sides, one side did not slot in perfectly and it seemed like I may have measured incorrectly, but I then decided to screw in anyways, screwing it in then allowed the handle to sit in and correct itself - so don’t despair if you think the screw holes are not aligning, try screwing it in first and it should align and correct once tight.Once done, the replacement looks as good as new! I have a back door with a similarly worn handle so will be ordering this again when I’ve got round to painting that door.

A Good Replacement
I bought these handles to replace those on the front door. The existing ones were floppy due to the springs failing and the surface of both handles (particularly the outside handle) were worn and shabby looking. It took a bit of research and measuring of the existing handles to be sure of ordering the correct size. The key dimensions are the distance from the centre of the handle spindle to the centre of the lock (the circular part only) and the distance between the two fixing screws at the top and bottom of the handle fixing plate. Do not order replacement handles without measuring, checking and checking again these dimensions or you could find yourself with the wrong size. Fitting was quite straight forward with a small amount of 'fettling' ( such as shortening the fixing screws with a hacksaw as they were too long - I used the old fixing screws as a guide as both existing and new handles were the same size). If you can turn your hand to a bit of DIY then this should be a fairly straightforward task. It should also save you some money by not having to employ a tradesman or handyman. It's always best to be your own handyman and know the job has been done properly!

Generally a good product
All was good, except that I didn't notice the barrel length and assumed it would be the same as my previous handle assembly. However, it was too long and had to use the the old barrel from my previous handle assembly. The manufacturer was unable? to provide a shorter barrel.Otherwise, all was good

Handle
Bought to replace a front door handle that had broken.Apart from the supplied bolts being too long & needing to be cut down (better than being too short) they were easy to fit.

Great value
Great solid handle, measured before I bought .Inside fitting great but outside slightly out ! Can still lock but as the lock seems more set back, it's not exact.
