These cross braces worked perfectly for carrying our medium size Thule car top carrier. They can be adjusted width wise and clamp down to existing rack on our suburban. Took about 30 min to install with the tools provided. We heard no noice from these braces or carrier on our 12 hour drive. Also gives good piece of mind knowing that they lock. Great value for the money!

Perfect snug fit on my 2021 Ford Escape. Very easy install. Loved the cushioned rubber. I was concerned about marks being left on my roof guides but the rubber was in complete contact. I installed metal roof rack with approximately 100-125lbs of various camping gear. Drove over 800 miles never had to retighten. Stayed nice and tight and no vibration or noises. When I removed, my guides were perfect no dents or impressions it was as if i never installed them. Great product
