Nice looking kettle, holds a decent amount of water and the pour is lovely. No plastic touches the water which is great. Honestly don’t know what some of the kettle reviewers on here are looking for? Yes it takes a few minutes to boil, it’s a kettle not a piece of volcanic lava. It makes a noise, but guess what, heating water up makes noise. It releases some steam, that’s what boiling water is. It gets hot in the outside. Yea, it’s a kettle containing boiling hot water. This kettle feels sturdy and looks nice and does the job.

I purchased the Ascot kettle in April 2024, and initially, I was happy with its design and functionality. However, over the past week, it has blown fuses in our house twice, causing significant inconvenience. Now, the kettle has completely stopped working, which is unacceptable for a product that is less than a year old.The product description claims a 2-year replacement guarantee, but there is no clear way to contact the seller or access support. I’ve searched thoroughly for a customer service option, but to no avail. A warranty is meaningless if customers can’t reach the company to address issues.Overall, I’m extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this product unless the company improves both the reliability of their products and their customer service accessibility.

I gave it a 4 only because it's a bit slower and loud. It does get quite hot ( logically) but I was surprised how hot the ring on lid gets. If you tilt kettle fully to get all the water out there is a leak from the top. Otherwise is quite firm, nice colour as on the picture actually is identical. It fits amazing in to our kitchen we always get some comments about it because it's very beautiful in person. All the top issues don't bother us as much because it was difficult to find copper kettle.

How lovely this looks in my kitchen! The handle for my older arthritic hands is really quite comfortable. I hope the tight fitting lid will loosen in time. The weight is medium an very manageable. I can just about fill it through the spout with my swivelling mixer tap - there is a bit of a knack to it. I miss seeing how much water is in the kettle but it's quite silent as it boils. It's the first untainted hot drink i've had in 20 years...no plastic in contact with the water. There is a removable filter in the spout and i have enquired if spares are available as filters rarely live as long as the kettles. Well done Ascot and hope you can sell me a spare filter?. Adding that Ascot dont sell spare filters but the filter is metal and hopefully quite durable if kept clear of limescale.

This kettle looks nice but it is really cheaply made. Firstly the lid does not fit well and sticks when you try to pull it off. Secondly, it's noisy and takes a long time to boil. Thirdly, the surface scratches easily and when trying to remove a mark with a light scouring sponge, it took off the paintwork. Lastly, fitting it back on the centre is tricky - it somehow never finds the centre easily and you have fiddle about to get it on. Very disappointing purchase and I have already replaced after only three months with a kettle that did not cost much more and is a superior quality. I would add that I am elderly and have had many kettles in my 50 years of marriage and never encountered a product like this.

Lovely kettle. Stylish and hard wearing - unlike the glass version I had before.

Good kettle and chosen for its design which looks great , but not that practical as I can’t get hand inside when cleaning fur away. No guage for amount of water unlike my other kettles, other than a ‘max’ level inside the kettle.A bit noisy, but quick boiling
