We bought this for a black and gold themed birthday party. Considering the price my expectations were very low. I assumed it would be more like a costume, but was very pleasantly surprised over the quality of both the vest and tie! It runs true to size, maybe even a little bigger, but my husband was very comfortable and he looked great!

Husband wore this ensemble for our daughters wedding. He sure looked nice. Well fitting, no troubles with any of it. True to fit.

I bought this for a role in a play, as an attorney who is a metaphorical Satan. The shiny, flame-like (from a distance) motif of this vest/tie combo was perfect! That being said, it's not the highest quality. Good, but not great. I am careful buttoning/unbuttoning the vest, as the buttons seem as if they will come off if I treated them like I was buttoning up a dress shirt on autopilot. The vest does have a strap that can be tightened across the back, but no real way to secure it once having pulled it snug, unless you tie it off. If you're wearing a coat, that's all well and good, but if you just want to wear the vest as outerwear, the dangling/tied-off strap is going to be a little tacky looking. The pocket square is ok, but a little small and given the quality of the material, limits the folds you can do with it. All things considered, it's worth the price.

I'm 5'9", 165 Lbs and 70 years old. I wanted a tight fitting vest so I ordered the small black of this vest and I'm glad I did. My chest size is 38" with my waist of 32" and this vest fits tight but perfectly. While the fit is snug and it feels and looks great. The 100% silk fabric type as stated in the listing description does not agree with the garment tag on vest which indicates 80% silk 20% polyester, which feels about right according to my touch. While this pattern doesn't show well in the main photo I included a closeup photo of the paisley pattern which appears on the front half of the vest. So for all of you younger whippersnappers, order the smallest size you believe you can squeeze into if you want to look your best, and as you can see from some of the other review photos, wearing a vest that's too big makes you look like a dweeb.

Great quality, exactly as pictured. Only issue is it runs a bit large, so size down or have it taken in a bit.
