Nice flavour. Have had taco seasoning on the list for over a year since we ran out of old El Paso and for unknown reasons they changed their recipes (for the worse). So pleased to have found this product. Tastes great and is not too spicy so wife is happy too! Bought second time as we are enjoying having tacos on the menu once again!

If you are baking chicken breasts or pork chops, this will add the flavour you need without going to a lot of trouble. 5 star!

This taco seasoning mix was something I took for granted back in Texas - we'd make tacos a few times a month, and a packet of this with a little extra cumin and chili powder would make perfect ground beef tacos every time. Here in Oz, the taco seasonings are either mild or extra mild, and they SUCK!!!! I couldn't believe it when I saw these 12-pack boxes for a reasonable price. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get some decent corn tortillas!!

I purchased the McCormick Original Taco Seasoning Mix, 1 Ounce (Pack of 12) when I saw them on sale. I love McCormick spices, and this one we purchase often. The 12 packets come in a sealed box and the expiration for the ones I received was 08/2024, so 13+ months to use & plenty of time to use. Each packet is individual, and I usually use it for 1-1.5lbs of meat to make tacos. This original one is mild & I like that it doesn’t add MSG. I like using the packets verses buying the larger containers of seasoning because you just open the packet, add water, and mix it with the meat. Don’t have to worry about measuring the amount of spice you need so it’s a little easier. Compare the cost per packet, and since expiration dates are awhile out, it’s something you can stock up on when you find a good price and also helpful to have in the pantry just in case it’s needed. 😁

After running out of this during the pandemic, and had a very difficult time finding it after the pandemic I decided to buy two boxes. I've been using this brand since the early 1980s. I hope McCormick doesn't fade this taco seasoning out.
