I was very careful applying this. I dried out my tank completely and fitted this to the inside so everywhere was covered. I overlapped it in places but it was very sticky and held very well. It has been super warm where I live and I have a very deep well but this is the first year I haven’t had sweat running down my tank onto the floor. The product does what it says!

Wish there was a lesser rating! Terrible product. Photos show installation inside of tank. Adhesive does not adhere to tank no matter how much you dry it. Horrible fit. Has to be cut to fit, can't apply it to bottom of tank. Does not help with condensation on the bowl. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY TO BY IT OR THE TIME AND EFFORT TO INSTALL IT.

We are on well water and during the summer the difference between the moist bathroom air and cold water filling the tank makes the tank condensate constantly. I didn’t want to do anything with the hot water line to help mitigate the issue so I was so glad to find that simply insulating the tank was an option. The set comes rolled up without printed directions, so that could be better. There was some clear tape on the insulating panels and it did pull off a bit at the black foam from the few places it made contact. Installing the foam is not the easiest. The tank needs to be really dry prior to installation, so having a second bathroom helped, after emptying the tank it was left to dry for a few hours. That part was easy. The hard part was getting the foam all the way into the bottom of the tank evenly without it catching on the side. For our tank, the top had to be scored since the tank narrows towards the base. (see photos, but please ignore the iron buildup from well water). The result is not attractive but the insulation works really, really well. It has been such a hot summer and there has been absolutely no condensation buildup on the tank- even on the heaviest use days.

I was skeptical but it works. Follow the directions and install the insulation material and wait a few hours for the porcelain to warm up a bit.

Not easy to install

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I would give this sorry item a 0 if possible. I followed directions exactly. I drained the tank, wiped it down and let it sit for about an hour before installing item. The very first morning, not even a half day, item was floating in tank. Bottom part of item was blocking plunger from dropping and water was continuously running which is how I knew something was wrong. Within hours the product lifted from wall and now I have residue on inside wall of tank. Im tired of product not delivering the simple task of performing like it said. This is a joke. Do not waste time or money like I did.

Two pieces. One did my tank with some width left over. Product description reads 40"x15.7". I measured 39"x15.875" My tools ... bucket, small plastic cup, a couple of washcloths. Flushed the toilet with the water turned off. About two or three inches of water remained. Used the small (6 oz?) flexible plastic cup to scoop most of it into a bucket. The washcloths did the rest. Not much need to dry the inside, but I did use a few paper towels. The adhesive didn't grab hard, so I was able to reposition the sheet a few times. It did grab a bit, so I had to pull it away to ensure it was on the bottom all the way around. Once placed, I was able to press it in all around. I did place it so the two ends were at the end of the tank with no fixtures. My tank is wider at the top than the bottom, so you see how it created a "V" when fully in place. The full width of the sheet extended above the tank by about 4-1/2" - wider than the top of the "V." After using scissors to make it just below even with the top, I cut a length then used it as a patch. I went back around the entire sheet to press it more firmly into place. This tank sweats just terribly in the summer. I think this will solve the issue. I'll update the review as appropriate. I like this product a lot. Seems to have solved an ongoing problem. Very pleased.

Bien laver et sécher complètement le réservoir, prendre son temps et découper les morceaux du matériel isolant, appliquer un peu de nettoyeur à vitre et l'essuyer sur la surface interne du réservoir permet de repositionner l'isolant, j'ai appliqué un silicone pour vitre sur les joints. Fonctionne très bien pour le moment.

Terrible product, the adhesive is not waterproof! After 24 hours it became completely detached from the tank. Had been installed in a totally dry tank

Didn’t stay glued to the tank

This product doesn't not work. I returned it after two days because it did not do what it said it would do. Whoever sold this product is lying about what it does. It does not stop condensation AT ALL and is a waste of your money.

Bien conçu avec un côté collant. Pas encore essayé mais je crois que ça va faire très bien.
