Q: will these bulbs work in virilux lamps?

NO. Neither of the 2 Sunlite bulbs I received would work in any of my lamps that use Verilux CFML27VLX bulbs. The only difference I can see it that the Sunlite bulb's pins are too short, shorter than the Verilux. I returned them. There is a photo of showing the pins on both the Sunlite and Verilux bulbs in my review. I don't know how to put the photo here.

No it will not. This is a 27 watt bulb.

Q: Do these work with touch lamps?

If the lamps have the correct outlets I do not see why they would not work. Touch or switch the electricity is the same.

Q: Do you have lamps that are longer than 6"? My reading lamp has a clamp that is somewhere around 8" from the lamp base.

No. These FML style bulbs are all a standard length.
