I had this air purifier turned on while construction (drywall replacement, huge part of wall) was being done in my home and it filtered a significant amount of particles out of the air. I am extremely impressed. It keeps dust to a minimum in a typically dusty area. The night feature turns off the light and reduces the sound so I cannot even tell it is in the room with me.

Great air filter, works well in apartment/townhouse, especially for days/seasons I don't want windows open. I have one for upstairs and one for down. I sleep with it on and during the day rotate it in different rooms (is lightweight). I like the auto feature where it automatically changes speed based on air quality, and I set the timer if I'm not in the room. Overall the air is fresher, it works when cooking/smoke/ventilation needed. Only 4 stars because it's not a miracle worker if something is extra stinky (cats), that takes time.

I have acquired an allergy from my cats dander and also from dust. I did a lot of research before deciding upon and purchasing this air purifier. Compared to other air purifiers that marketers have hyped up the quality of HEPA air filters that they use, this one contains more of a carbon filter and was rated higher in performance. It fits perfectly in the corner near our wood burning fireplace which also can emit ash dust. It is also quiet. I noticed the difference in my breathing since buying this air purifier.
