A sparkling mix of Gazania, with large flowers in a mix of colours from June to the first frost. Plants grow to a height 25-30cm and are great for edging, front of borders and pots. They are drought tolerant once established, making them well suited to growing in containers. Flowers open in the sunshine. Great hot colours for later in the summer. Gazanias grow best in full sun and well drained soil. They live more than one season if protected from frosts over winter. Many grow as annuals as they flower quickly from seed. Sow in spring indoors in a tray or cells of seed compost, keep at 15-20 degrees Celcius and germination takes 2-3 weeks. Or sow into summer and early autumn for next year flowering, protecting the young plants from frost and planting out in late spring. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet. Arrived promptly
I bought these as I wanted to brighten up my garden during lock down. This was the first company I found to promise arrival before the summer in fact they arrived 2nd April. I'm going to sow them today and hopefully they'll provide a colourful show for the summer
