I was after an easy to use compact light weight camera for my 82 year old sprightly Mother who loves getting out and about exploring via bus and visiting her family and friends whilst keeping a photographic record of her journeys and visits. Her old camera had given up the ghost after many years faithful service. My Mum is a techno-phobe so it had to be simple to operate but take quality pictures. She loves it. Picked up how to use it very quickly and whilst she will never use half the the features this camera has, they are there if she gets adventurous! There are lots of options out there and making choices isn't always easy but I can't recommend this camera enough. Arrived quickly, well boxed, great price and absolutely packed with features, whilst being easy to use and giving great quality photos which all you can ask for! Comes with carry strap, small bag and two batteries (though one battery lasts ages between charge so not sure how many photos you'd need to take to need the second battery,!)

This is as advertised a camera for the novice... which is a level that one day I hope to reach. Everything is easy to navigate, and use, with an astounding number of in-built filters that can redefine your photos at the push of a button. It is easily carried in a pocket, comes with two batteries and a 32GB SD card, so there's nothing to stop you unpacking the camera and getting out there to use it straightaway. In the menu there are enough personalisation settings to keep things interesting, and one day I will learn what they all mean. Video is easy to use and play back, and comes with a great resolution and good quality optical zoom. I have other cameras, but I can already tell that this one is going to be my go-to for outings, family events and just general use.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Perfect camera for a teenager – she doesn’t go anywhere without it! I bought this camera for my daughter, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. Ever since she got it, she’s been taking it everywhere – snapping photos of her friends, our cat, sunsets, and her outfits. It’s very easy to use, which was important to me as a parent – I didn’t have to explain anything, she figured it all out on her own. And the photos? They’re surprisingly sharp and clear – it has 56 megapixels and records videos in Full HD. There’s also a digital zoom that she enjoys using to play around with different shots. A big plus is that it came with everything included: a 32GB memory card, two rechargeable batteries, and a lanyard. It was ready to go right out of the box – no extra costs. The camera is light, compact, and fits in her pocket – perfect for trips, walks, or school events. This isn’t just a toy – it’s a real camera that brings a lot of joy and helps her grow her interest in photography. I definitely recommend it to other parents – a great gift idea and really good quality for the price.

EDIT- 3 months later, the battery is completely dead and the unit won't work unless it's plugged in. Given that it's a recased DashCam at its core, I'm not shocked as all dashcams need constant power. I will attempt to return this but I'm not holding my breath. I would avoid, as it's now useless, which is a shame as it's a nice little camera --------------------Original review------------------ Needed a camera for my 7 yr old daughter, to take on a school trip with her. I didn't want anything too good/ expensive, and this camera had good reviews, so I went for it. In the box, are two batteries, 32GB micro SD card, a strap and a soft case which is large enough for the camera and spare battery. You also get a USB-C to USB-A cable to charge the camera with (camera is the USB-C end). Batteries take about 30 mins to charge. The camera is actually quite responsive, the LCD bright and readable, and it has an easy to navigate menu. Set the date/time, and you're away. On the negative side- slight delay in focus, mild shutter lag and no optical zoom. Having said all that, there is nothing that is a show stopper, and for a light, pocketable camera for a 7 year old to snap away, and take video on, I am not seeing any issues whatsoever. For £30, this is a great price, and if it gets dropped it's not the end of the world. Very pleased with the extra battery and supplied SD Card.

Very handy, small camera, camera quality is good for what it is. Definitely loved using it on my girls trip! The battery life is a little on and off but it lasts for what you need it to!

This is a neat little camera and does everything it needs to and more. It's the same as the digital cameras that we all used before relying on smart phones to take our photos, so you do need to spend a little while understanding with the features to make the most of it. The most important thing is to half press the shutter to allow the camera to focus, before pressing fully down to take the shot. I bought this for my 12 year old daughter who doesn't have a smart phone, and she has just returned from a school trip with some great photos. She loves trying out the special effects to produce arty shots. Great value, and at that price, its not the end of the world if it gets lost or broken.

This product is amazing. I’ve had it for a while and it’s extremely good, I absolutely love the vintage vibe it has with it, it feels so homey & nostalgic for me every time I look back at the pictures!! And also love how it makes me look especially when I take sunset pics. They eat downnn!! And it’s good quality, comes with two discs & a charger which most don’t have. If you are looking for a vintage Y2K kinda camera that is also cheap and comes with back ups & clear instructions! This is the one!
