Fit is good.
I haven't tried putting g a hot casserole dish in it yet and it seems a little shallow. I was able to try it on a clean, dry unused dish and it took a little maneuvering but I think that is intentional as it fits tightly and feels secure.

Should have bought this a long time ago!
We always brings a casserole to church and family dinners. We usually cover with foil and then wrap in a towel. No idea why I did not get one of these sooner! Works as intended and looks well made.

Read the description carefully . This only includes the insulated carrier, not the glass casserole dish. Returning.
