Amazing watch
The pictures don't do this watch justice. Absolutely amazing timepiece for the price. Solid heavy weight build quality. Looks amazing. Keeps great time. And sapphire scratch resistance at under $140? Functions flawlessly.

Very unique dial especially at twilight before sunset.
The lume is not very bright and needs a full minute or two of intense light to get it glowing like more premium lume. But a full day of walking around is enough to get a subtle glow that lasts all night. Also, the dial is actually VERY 'non-reflective' which makes the gilded hands, subdials, and indices appear to float - especially during twilight hour at an angle. It's definitely a unique watch for my collection of 1963s and I plan to wear it often.

Value is through the roof
I marvel at this watch every time I look at it. I can't believe that such a high end thing can be built for so low a price. Keeps excellent time.

Great chronograph at a great price
Great quality, watch looks and feels superb. Wonderful chronograph within a reasonable budget for anyone starting a collection. Not too big. I got the no-lume version

VERY COOL ... BUT
It is a cool novelty, but not a great time piece. I love the look, and lets face it -- old school watches really just keep time. This one does not seem to keep it for long and you have to really be all over winding it throughout the day. So, at that point, it is quick to be unreliable.

Don’t wind it too much or it will break
So, it’s a nice watch. Looks good, feels like something Chairman Mao would have handed out if you survived the Long March. It’s a hard wind. Real tough. Mostly because of the two chronograph buttons on either side of the crown. Also, if you wind the watch too much and try to engage the chronograph, you break the chronograph complication. I did that. So I tried to return it. They gave me a return label and I dropped it in the mail. They are currently sending me a replacement from China. We’ll see how long the next one lasts.

disappointing hands and crown
In the product pictures of the listing the minute and hour hands are this beautiful blue color that really pops with the red second hand and creamy background. But with the watch on my wrist the hands could be black. If you hold the watch at just the right angle you can verify, they are blue, but just barely. See my photos below, those are accurate. My other complaint is that it is hard to wind, much harder than something like a Seiko NH35. That may party because the crown is not screw-in. So when you are winding it the crown is too close the case to get a good grip on. For whatever reason it is very hard for me to wind. I have been looking at these for a while and even ordered one off of Aliexpress. But that package came opened and the case was empty so I ended up buying this one because I trusted it to actually get to me, which it die. There are many companies that make the 1963 and I don't know where Tophill ranks in there. The case is thicker than I expected so I may end up not using the Nato strap. But it is fairly light and comfortable. Getting a mechanical chronograph a this price, especially with an exhibition caseback is amazing, so I can't complain there, but I was bummed to see it doesn't have the swan neck for adjustment. The accuracy out of the box was about 11s fast a day. The case, crystal and that seem very well done.

No me molesta.
