Metal Flash PC Sync Terminal Cap Cover for Camera

IT fit my Olympus camera which has a standard thread.

This cover fits perfectly on my old SLR. There appear to be two types of flash sync ports on old cameras - unthreaded 6.5mm diameter and threaded 10mm diameter. This cover fits the 10mm threaded port on my Canon F-1. It will not fit the smaller, unthreaded port on my Canon A-1, which requires a plastic press-fit cover. Fortunately, the camera already has one. I ordered 2 after reading the reviews, just in case one had a problem. Both screw in perfectly. The threads are cleanly cut. The ones I received ARE metal, not plastic. Because these are screw-in covers, they are much less likely to fall off and become lost.

Description says it’s metal, but it’s plastic. While it fit my fujifilm XT5, I bought it under the assumption that it was made of metal, not plastic.

I ordered this to cover my sync terminal for my Em1 mk 2. Just in case, to protect it from water infiltration risks. I'm aware that Olympus is great for wet / rainy environments however I didn't want to risk any water getting into an area that may or may not be completely sealed. Adding this cap gave me peace of mind. It's worth it, esp if you paid good money for your camera. It also fits many other cameras, I have a feeling it's in general a standard port size for the sync terminal on a camera.

Worked great, had a hard time trying to find the OEM plastic ones so figured I would give these a try. They work well and look fine. Fit perfectly on Nikon FM, FE, FM2, FE2 etc.. Note: I ordered two, one screwed on all the way and worked perfect. The other had a very tiny burr on the threads - it still worked but threaded on a little snug for my liking. I easily removed burr with an x-acto knife and now it works as good as the other. You might want to order one more than you actually need just in case. Doesn't hurt to have an extra one as they are tiny and easy to loose. Overall I am happy with my order.

These are quality made items and fit correctly in my Nikon D800e as the original rubber one that comes with the camera breaks easy.
