Fantastic..Closest thing to Scotch Bonnet flavour but without the heat.
Finally... fantastic flavour near to scotch bonnets without the heat. Impossible to find Trinidad pimento peppers in London. Been trying ages...Can't get them. They are a key ingredient for homemade Green Seasoning along with Chadon Beni - a kind of long leaf, strong tasting coriander (also called thai parsley), plus lime , garlic, scallions, ginger, shallot, thyme etc. Agree with some reviews that a little too much vinegar, but really so what, the flavour is unique.

I wasnāt expecting this to be that close to the pepper sauce I grew up with ā but wow. The moment I opened the bottle, the aroma hit me with pure nostalgia. The flavor is bright, spicy, and full of that homemade depth you only get when someone really knows what theyāre doing. Itās got the perfect balance of heat and tang, with enough kick to wake up any dish without overwhelming it. Iāve tried it on chicken, seafood, eggs, and even mixed a little into soups ā it elevates everything. If youāre looking for a sauce that tastes authentically homemade, this is the one. It truly brought me back to my momās kitchen. Highly recommend! Pros: ⢠Authentic homemade flavor ⢠Perfect heat level ā spicy but enjoyable ⢠Works on everything Cons: ⢠Bottle disappears too fast š If you want an even shorter version or a more emotional one, just tell me!

Iām not sure how long this sauce has been in the bottle, but it tastes like they bottled it right before I opened it. Itās that fresh tasting. The first thing you smell and taste is peppers. So if you like the fruity taste of Caribbean peppers, youāll love the taste of this. I personally love that fruity pepper flavor. Bertieās is not messing around either-it shocked me how spicy this was. I have a decent tolerance and this sauce made me question that. Not for novices unless you want to get sucker-punched by heat. Even for those well versed in hot foods, it may surprise you. Itās no joke. Absolutely delicious and fresh, and extremely hot. Whatās not to love?

This delicious āpeppa sauceā is HOT. Even if you are an avid hot sauce fan. Proceed with caution. Full of flavour but packs a punch. I ordered the original I canāt imagine the inferno of the actual hot one in this series. This bottle should last a while but Iāll gladly order again

So a few years back I realized I like spicy stuff...and went on a rampage exploring all types of hot sauce. I ordered 2 or three bottles a week of all different brands for a couple years. I ordered homemade sauces off etsy, I ordered sauces from other countries. Tried the classics and the weird stuff. Most people can not tolerate extremely-spicy foods. Those of us who like it know about brands who make stuff that is hot and burns your mouth and flavorless. More liike a prank item than a food anyone would enjoy. BERTIES is NOT THAT. This stuff is the real deal, this scorpion sauce. It's not so much the intimidating heat factor that literally washes over you like a wave the first few times you eat some and break a sweat/ start hiccuping lol....but the most notable thing is the amazing flavor of the peppers. Hilarious to describe such a fiery sauce as "fruity" but it is. So its not just hot AF, it is HONEST hot af because of using rare types of ripe, hot af peppers. This is a bottle of pepper sludge, not the watery red vinegar stuff. The other thing is for hotsauce users....SODIUM content can be a deal breaker, If you dont use a few drops but several tablespoons---stuff like tobasco will kill ya at 200mg sodium per serving. Kinda hard to believe....but this bottle say 19mg sodium per serving. Safely abusable. The generous bottle size is also appreciaated after living 5oz ounce bottle to bottle for years. The last thing is you know how people say "a little hot sauce can be used as flavoring, just a dab!"...but it really does nothing except make you want more actual hotsauce?𤣠I used a single spoonful of this berties scorpion pepper in a chicken/ mushroom, broccoli stir fry and just a teaspoon gave a great pepper taste to the whole pan and didnt make it overwhelming hot. (of course i added extra berties later, but for the average person lol). The regular Berties is a knock out too, just not dangerous-level spicey. This stuff if you are a real pepper freak....or the regular berties if you like stuff like siracha if it were a little hotter. My favorite sauce i found in the last 18 months. Totally awesome. -M the the Power of M
