I’m an above knee amputee who enjoys swimming as a form of exercise. I have struggled with swimming free style without the aid of a pool buoy along with my remaking leg sinking lower in the water when I swim. Since I started wearing ZONE3 Neoprene Buoyancy Shorts I have been able to increase my distance and concentrate on my breathing. Fantastic product. Stylish I went for the large size after reading reviews I’m a 34 inch waist and the large are a snug but very comfortable fit

Amazing buoyancy in a swimming pool and sea. The lift improves the angle of attack and posture when swimming, hence reducing drag. Definitely worth it. Also, very high quality item. Very soft feel.

Struggled with a wetsuit as, because I am tall and slim, a medium was restricting movement and actually choking me - not ideal for open water swimming. Thought I’d give these a go and they are awesome. Still gives the buoyancy of a wetsuit and because I can now flow better I am warmer. I’m a 32 waist with quite long muscular legs and these fit very well. I’m also 6ft 3 and these were perfect. Great value for money too

poor the seams are coming apart, had to buy some glue to re-glue them back together

love these buoyancy shorts, first pair I have had and they are a game changer in the pool. help stroke and speed over night. knocked 5 minutes off my mile time on first swim just by having my legs and body in correct position allowing me to improve my stroke and speed. if you don't have these and want to improve your stroke and speed, buy now.

On the plus side these made me about 10% faster than normal swimming trunks but then so would using flippers or hand paddles! On the negative side they didn't last long. After 5 months the seams split and after 6 months the stitching broke in the crotch area. My Garmin says I had only swam about 37 hours in a pool over the 6 months. What's worse is that when I reverted back to using normal swimming trunks my swimming was slower than before I started using them! I contacted Zone 3 but they weren't interested so overall a poor purchase.

Great fit and for TI swimmers a no brainer. They keep the hips supported while swimming especially for those use the two beat kick. Just enough support, not too much. Enjoy.

Bought this for my husband and he really enjoyed the Zone3 buoyancy shorts. As a “sinker”, helped him to get a more flatter/streamlined position, working his core and felt improvement in his strokes. He found his time was faster with the buoyancy shorts on. His waist is ~ 32’ and the medium size feels right without being too tight.
