You cannot turn them straight. They always have to be on an angle because of where they put the slots absolutely ridiculous.

picked this up for my diesel heater setup and it adjusts with a really satisfying click so you know it’s locked in place. fits the ducting tight with no wiggle and makes routing the pipe around corners way cleaner. feels sturdy and doesn’t pop loose even with some movement. exactly what i needed for a clean install.
