Expensive but well worth it. I use these drives for editing UHD video and with the supplied cable the drives are fast enough to read the content as if on the laptop. I have many of these drives.

This is a fast external SSD. Plug and play into Mac, iPad and iPhone. Excellent.

For the little cost difference this little unit is superb. I can easily fill half machine’s memory with photos and localised music and some apps so it makes way more sense to use the sped of the thunderbolt path to access this. And the speed and convenience is amazing.

I bought one of these 4-5 years ago and it is still going strong. It gets warm, but never too hot. This new one comes with a removable silicon cover and is said to have performance improvements too. All going well after a week's use

Doesn’t get too hot but but I wouldn’t leave it on for days without a break. Speed is excellent if you have say a Mac mini with thunderbolt. Run scratch disks for adobe on it plus all app storage and some apps also. Spent a while to find this. Maybe next time I would get something with a fan and a larger enclosure. Excellent value for money.

t is highly compatible with Mac computers. On my Mac Mini M4 with 16GB RAM, it offers faster read and write speeds than the internal disk. Its tiny size doesn't cause any inconvenience at all. It works perfectly with Thunderbird. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Excellent build quality and finish, from packing to product. Really fast writing and reading rates. It really packs a punch. Im able to edit photos and 4k footage straight from this drive, like if it was stored on my laptop. Be aware that for it's size and power, it will heat up a little, so I would avoid leaving it in a concealed space or close to hot surfaces. I'll give updates about performance over the time.

It is an excellent thunderbolt SSD. BlackMagic Disk Speed Test shows 2195 MB/s Write and 2380.6 MB/s Read. I am using it for my iMac 2017 (27 inches), which is blazing fast now. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and performance of the SABRENT 1TB Rocket Nano XTRM External SSD (SB-XTMN-1TB).

Ottimo SSD, veloce ed affidabile. Attenzione, per avere la velocità thunderbolt su macbook pro you need to connect the disk directly to one of the thunderbolt ports. If you connect to a port of a usb-c hub, such as on the back of the studio display, you just obtain usb-c speed.

Although I haven't had extensive experience with the Sabrent ROCKET XTRM PLUS 2TB external SSD yet I have found it to be a reliable, extremely well built and super fast solid state drive, (via Thunderbolt 3). As I understand it it will also support the newer fast transfer protocol via a USB-C port although I can't recall the name. I've had no problems moving files of all sizes and types to the Sabrent drive, but my main use will be for storing file backups and system images although I know I'd still have considerable room on the SSD for keeping non-related data. As the Sabrent ROCKET XTRM PLUS 2TB external SSD supports two fast data transfer systems, (including the default mode should you not have a PC supporting fast data transfer), it is a very versatile SSD and certainly gets the job done. I have found that I can transfer data and read it back at speeds well exceeding 25Gb/s and so read and write times, especially with large files, are noticeably quicker. The construction of the Sabrent ROCKET XTRM PLUS SSD is top notch and the electronic are housed in a solid aluminium body within a rubber jacket with a reassuring 'weight' to it. From what I've discovered so far the Sabrent ROCKET XTRM PLUS is likely to go the distance and the speed advantages are great. Yes it is costly but I feel I made a worthwhile purchase here and hope to enjoy years of use from the Sabrent ROCKET XTRM PLUS external SSD.
