I've owned several portable monitors and this one is the worst. It's a decent build quality but it will not work when I connect it via HDMI to my Steam Deck dock or my Ally X dock. And yes I do have the monitor connected to a USB power supply. The monitor acts like it has a signal when you plugin the game consoles but the screen is blank. If I plug the consoles into a TV instead it does work there. The monitor will work if I plug a Firestick in but I need it to work with my game consoles.

I bought this with the intentions that it would not be good quality but would help me for a tradeshow event. It's not as big as I'd like but the only one that was avialble overnighted. I decided to keep it as the quality was decent and is very tiny screen. So it's easy to carry around.

This monitor is very portable and the video quality is very good. However, the connection using the included HDMI cable is horrible, making it impossible to see anything on the monitor. There are also two USB type C cables included and I have to use both of them, one for connection and one for powering the monitor. There's no issues when using the USB cables. 9/14: I must say, after a month and a half later, that the customer service of this company is amazing! After leaning about my issue, one of their sales reps reached out to me suggesting that the HDMI cable might be faulty and offered to send me a new one. They even promised me a monitor replacement if the new cable failed to fix the issue. I received the cable just one day later and it really did the job. My monitor is working great now. I highly recommend this vendor and their products, and with this in mind, have changed my rating of this item from the original 3 stars to 5 stars!

I travel for work a couple of times a year and wanted an easy, all-in-one, portable monitor that wasn’t a hassle to travel with. This one ticks all the boxes for me. I can connect it via USB-C to my work laptop and have a second screen, or clone my display for table side demonstrations of software products to vendors. And when I get back to my room it’s super easy to switch over to an SFF computer (I’ve got a Fractal Terra) to blow off some steam gaming or watching movies. For a 1080p monitor it does everything I need it to. I can’t really speak to the speakers, as I use headphones exclusively for any applications that require sound. Comes with being hard of hearing, so I can’t really rate them. It comes with everything you need to get rolling. A usb-c cable for power only, if you need it. A usb-c cable that can carry video/sound, and a mini-hdmi to hdmi adapter as well. My only gripe here is with the mini-hdmi output as a form factor, but honestly, with usb-c output it’s negligible. The felt cover it comes with is sturdy and the leather clasp is a nice touch. It’s fun to throw a couple of Velcro patches on from my military days for a little personality. The built-in stand is very sturdy, a solid choice to give a little extra premium feel. Not a flimsy piece of plastic that you’d worry will break under prolonged use or pressure. All around a great portable monitor.

Bright clear easy to read portable display. Love the large size, fits with an aftermarket Amon bought 18" monitor soft case in the laptop travel backpack. If you have a powerful USBC lap top charger you can plug this into one of the two monitor USBC ports, then connect monitor to lap tops USBC, this powers the monitor so 100% portable monitor screen brightness is achieved and it charges your lap top at the same time (at a slightly slower charge rate cause some power is for portable monitor). Advantages 1) Largest portable monitor that fits in my travel backpack with monitor in a soft case with my del rugged lap top in the same backpack pocket. 2) Good quality colorful bright monitor picture, text is crisp and easy to read, awesome 2nd monitor for my lap top. 3) Comes with all the cables you need and small wall wort power supply. Cable s are good quality, thick and work reliable. 3) Monitor includes high quality studey stand that folds flat into the monitor back. Very nice, useful, and very durable/sturdy. 4) When I work at remote job sites every few weeksd all others without a 2nd travel monitor a very envious, plus this one is much bigger the most. 5) My 62 year old eyes love, cannot live without a 2nd large then my laptops monitor and it's just as bright. Life is good. Disadvantages 1) Requires/recomend always using 2nd seperate USBC power wall wort for reliable 100% screen brightness, your laptop USBC is likely not providing enough power to the monitor to get anything ove 69% brightness and monitor mar work for a few hours the over tax the laptops power supply as all get warm and monitor shuts off. Or see above a few paragraphs method of powering monitor and charge laptop at same time, see a few paragraphs above above about using laptops charger plugged into the monitor ging monitor full brightness while charging your lap top at the same time way cool thing. 2) Does not come with a protective case, search Amazon for 18" monitor case two come up, I got the all black one, is protective, works great. This works great, monitor in the soft case just fits in my travel backpack.
