Great chocolates for making goodies. I read the reviews and decided to try these chocolates, as I didn't have success adding color to white chocolate without it breaking. I used the microwave method of initial 30 secs and then 15 second intervals stirring between, and these melted perfectly. I used them for dipping and fire drizzling on holiday goodies. The consistency was pretty good as well, made it easy to work with. Overall I was impressed with how everything turned out. These are worth buying again. I think they tasted good and were not overly sweet. And these were less expensive than some options at the grocery stores.

Finally, I have found chocolate melts that taste delicious! I'm not kidding! I made molding chocolate with it and it came out perfect...and delicious! I got the notion to weigh the bag of these chocolate melts, and you can see by the photo that you do not get your 40 ounces. It weighs 38.3 ounces, and that's with the unopened bag. It was kept cold by using a bag of gel at the bottom that had been frozen. Keep that frozen bag of gel. It is reusable. Don't open it, but put it into a freezer bag and freeze it. I wouldn't put it in a child's lunch box to keep their lunch or drink cold. It is NOT edible gel. But back to this chocolate melt. The company needs to give an honest weight. If we pay for it, we need to get it and not short your customers. That's like saying you will give me 40 dollars, but you only give me 38 dollars and 30 cents. Quit cheating your customers. This is why you got only 4 stars. Maybe I should have given you 3 stars but your chocolate tasted so good and it's a quality product.

Received these in red for some reason, but was going to make that work. However they did not work. The dark chocolate ones melted beautifully to make pretzels but no matter what we tried with these, it would just cook and NOT melt. We tried so many different times and ways and temperatures but these were garbage.

Simply the BEST melting chocolate for covering homemade goodies. The pellets melt quickly and completely. I use the stove top double boiler method - a small bowl in a saucepan and simmer while stirring often. Taste delicious!

Easy to cook, works great in a double boiler for melting the chips. The chips in this bag are small but I think it’s better so you don’t waste too much. I can’t make enough for the holidays and birthdays, my husband says his Almond Joy is delicious

Took longer to melt in my 1000 watt microwave, but worked great and tasted good.
