Works great! Want a 2nd one!
I have found some very significant benefits of owning and using this air purifier. I live in a relatively small home with 5 people, 2 cats and 2 dogs. It can get pretty dusty and covered in pet dander pretty quick. One thing that bothers me very much is that I try and keep the home decent and as clean as I can, but the pet smell is very hard to get rid of. I absolutely despise the smell of cat litter boxes and do everything I can (short of getting rid of the cats) to stop the smell. This machine has made a significant and positive impact on the smell in my home. It is almost silent, but still very strong. The filters feel like they are of very good quality. It is basically plug and play. I just turn on auto mode and check out the number on the display when I walk by. One of the great benefits of this purifier is the tracking of air quality. The downstairs of my home where I placed it is hard floors without carpet. I try to vacuum often, but get busy and lose track sometimes. The gauge on this machine kind of indirectly reminds me when my floors are getting bad enough to impact the air quality. No joke, I have tested it 3 times. When the light turns green and the numbers are above 40 I know I have to break out the vacuum and bu the time I am all finished, I see the numbers drop back down in the blue. Seriously, picture 1 is before vacuuming (notice the cat tracking litter on the floor) and 2 is afterwards. I am likely going to get another one for the upstairs because I am so impressed with this one.

Finally breathing clean air Would buy again
Best home improvement thing I have bought. This thing works so well and so fast. It is easy to clean and the filters are washable so saves money. Great price. I bought 2 so I could have 1 upstairs and downstairs and it's works perfect for 1000 sq ft open area.

Absolute must have!!
Design is perfect. It was a perfect item for my home. There is no noise. You don't even know it's running. It has helped so much in the short time that I have been using it. It has helped a lot with smells and dust and other allergens in the home. Apparently there are a lot of features that come with this unit that I was unaware of. I honestly can't speak to the Wi-Fi connectivity capability of this unit, I didn't know it even had that feature. It's very easy to clean the filter.

Great Purifier
The infrared-laser sensor, ACM (Air Cycles Per Minute), and air quality results are accurate. However, the ad listing specifications are at best, a hot mess. The Good: Within five minutes of arriving at my door, I unboxed, installed the filter, plugged in, and powered up the air purifier with minimal effort. I appreciate its sleek design, as all my appliances are white. The two air intakes support its high ACM capacity. I placed my hand just above the output grill and felt the intense force of air rushing between my fingers. The smell of the purified air is refreshing. Watching the PM2.5 sensor reading is intriguing. It allows me to measure the air quality in my space and witness the downward trend of air contaminants removed over the next hour. I ran it on Turbo mode (because, who wouldn’t when getting a new toy?), in my 8,000 cubic foot living room. Within an hour, the air felt and smelled cleaner. I switched to the auto mode, and this little guy is intelligent! I can trust him adjusting the air flow based on the sensor’s readings. The Dayette brand Air Purifiers have a mixed bag of product listings. While some ads provide useful information, others are inconsistent and misleading. I reviewed over 50 Air Purifier ads, learning about their specifications and performance. CADM (Cubic Feet Per Minute Airflow Rate), M3/H (Cubic Meters of Air Filtering Rate), ACH (Air Cycle per Hour Rate), and Max Square Footage Space (total SF that can cycle all the air in 1 hour) are all important factors to consider when comparing different models. Now, let’s discuss the Dayette ads. They are inconsistent, contradictory, and the company fails to acknowledge the provided examples. The unit I received has the model number ‘AP303,’ which refers to an older model design with a significantly lower ACH rate and a round filter. When searching for a replacement filter for this specific unit, you’ll find that only round filters are listed with ‘AP303,’ which is not the design of this model. Consequently, I’m still unable to obtain a replacement filter. The unit advertises its ability to cycle an entire 3000 sq ft space in approximately an hour, which translates to a CADR CFM value of 400, which is considered high. However, there are two other Dayette models that also advertise a 3000 sq ft capacity, and all three ‘3000sf models’ are priced differently. This particular unit is priced at $149.00. Another 3000 sq ft model is priced at $154.00. It mentions the model’s name as AP401 and states, “Continuous powerful purification for large rooms up to 3000 Sq Ft.” However, it doesn’t specify the per-hour rate like this ad. To further complicate matters, a photo on the right side of the listing indicates that the unit has a maximum square footage space capacity of 1720 sq ft per hour. One unit that claims to have a capacity for large rooms up to 3000 sq ft and a maximum capacity of 1720 sq ft? Are they attempting to sell a significantly lower-end unit at a higher price? Is it capable of operating at a 3000 sq ft or 1720 sq ft capacity? The detail is so subtle that I only noticed it after my initial purchase. My first purchase was this model, which appeared to be a great deal, until I stumbled upon the 1720 reference. Even if the unit I received had a 3000 sq ft capacity, how could that be verified? The Dayette team failed to address this concern, so I returned the unit. The third ad for a 3000sf model advertises it for $169.00. It claims to purify up to 3,000 sq ft per hour and 500 sq ft per 10 minutes. A photo on that ad refers to it as the AP401 model (the same name as the second listed one, which mentions a 1720sf / hour cycle rate). However, scrolling further down reveals that the model is actually an AP303 (the same as the model name in this listing). Is this model an AP401 and AP303 that offers a maximum capacity of 3000sf with a 1720sf / hour cycle rate and a 3000sf / hour cycle rate? My point is that I invest in a brand, and it’s challenging to trust any unit’s actual specifications. In my opinion, that’s the entire purpose of choosing a product based on its advertised specifications. All five or six listed ads contain conflicting information. Why did I keep this unit? It provided the most consistent data among the three, and I’m impressed with its performance. I’m still waiting to see how Dayette’s team addresses my concerns. I also own the AP403 model (4000sf capacity) because of its ad with more consistency, and that unit is a powerhouse. However, I still don’t know if I got what’s advertised at the price it was listed for. I hope this review was helpful, even though it’s quite lengthy. When you encounter something that seems incorrect and then discover more and more evidence supporting the idea that it isn’t right, I feel compelled to share that experience. Is there intentional misinformation in ads designed to confuse and charge more for lower-quality products? With such small details, most people wouldn’t notice them (unless you’re like me and over-analyze anything that doesn’t make sense). As a consumer, it’s your responsibility to compare the ads, challenge what’s claimed, and embark on a quest to uncover the truth. Don’t fall victim to false ads; conduct thorough research. I believe Dayette has a great product, but the ‘brand name’ can’t be trusted until they address their inconsistent ad content issues. Thanks for listening.

Very quiet, works great
My dad lives in California and the desert and an air purifier is a requirement with his breathing limitations. I bought this against his wishes because I had read that it works great and he liked it so much that he bought a second one. Recently we visited and my sister wanted one so I bought a third one for her. It’s a really great product.

Love it!
Such a good product! I love how small it is and can fit almost anywhere. The design of it is also very modern looking so it doesn’t stick out in a room. It is very quiet and works like a charm. I’ve noticed the house smells more fresh since I’ve been using this and I’ve noticed less dust. It has a sleep mode which shuts the light off and makes the fan very quiet. It also has multiple fan speeds as well as an auto mode and a timer. It has 2 hepa filters, one on each side.

EASY MAINTINANCE
Have had this awhile now it works well easy to clean keeping filters clean and it is very quiet. The only time you notice it is when you create smoke frying a meal then it speeds up to purify the air. I'd recommend this purifier.
