I've ordered a few different brands looking for high quality mylar bags and very happy with these. The material is a good thickness yet still flexible and the matte white finish is beautiful. I love that they offer the 4"x5" size too. The wider width to height ratio is really nice. I need something a bit larger because I'm putting vacuum sealed bags inside so I had to exchange them for the 4x6 but wish they made 4.8" x 6" or 4.5"x6" instead.

I vacuum/heat seal very often and I like to try alternative packaging to do so. This pack of bags is great because you get 100 bags for a very low price. I got these bags in particular because I wanted to heat seal and waterproof snacks for kayak trips. These bags are very thick, which is key for me as I wanted something that was definitely waterproof and smell proof or at least smell reducing. They have a stand up bottom which is great if you are pouring something in as it won't tip over. The color is really bright and that is ideal if you are digging around in your bag looking for this. Using a heat seal improves the waterproof, however the area to heat seal is relatively small so it can be tricky. As the area is so small, it can be difficult to open after heat sealing unless you nail the placement. My biggest negative is that these bags are TINY on the inside. They are nowhere near 5x4 on the inside so I have had to reimagine what I will put in these bags. However they are good solid bags if you have a very small amount to place inside them.

These are just what I was looking for. Will be ordering again as I needed.
