So good, you must buy it...

Sensible store cupboard staples used over and over
I can hardly shut my copy now for markers placed on pages that I am inspired to use. The salad recipes are most successful and these are what I’ve tried so far into this sunny summer. My mini grumbles are about the use of irrelevant but pretty pictures of Emily, and her manicure, which isn’t so hygienic for food prep. The best thing about the recipes is the fairly modest collection of larder supplies required which are then featured through so many pages. Clever and considerate ingredient selection scores with my way of cooking. No one off uses which reprove you when you see them lurking unloved on the shelf… ps After trying to make her Sesame flatbreads page 63 I would advise that her recipe produces a dry crumbly dough that needs a bit more yogurt. The sesame seeds never stick to a dry dough. I also found she doesn’t suggest using oil but you need a bit in the dough, pan or both to achieve a brown crust. They take minutes more than the 2/3 minutes advised to cook and need to be rolled very thin, thus you gain more flatbreads which can be useful frozen or for immediate enjoyment. Worth a trial run before relying on her recipes.

Tasty, easy recipies
This was recommended by a friend and I've made several of the recipes. They are easy to follow & taste great. It has also encouraged me to try food I wouldn't normally eat. Really pleased.

Food that you can make Regulary
Healthy Food that's tasty. I just got this book at the beginning of the week after having purchased Emily's first book earlier this year. I've found the food really tasty and for the most part have these ingredients in the house. I like that the recipes state the calories and Protein. It would be fantastic if it also contained the fibre content of each meal (Maybe in a third book?). I don't think the recipes have been too hard to make. The sweet potato hash was the only one (so far), that I'd say was a bit of a faff, as the hash mixture didn't really stay together when trying to flip. The book does follow the same type of layout as the first one. There are a few recipes that are similar such as the Thai Gyoza soup (second book). and the Detox Gyoza soup (first book) as well as a couple of seafood pastas. I think the advantage to this is you can have a similar meal with base ingredients and just change it up a bit. I will say I don't feel as wasteful with ingredients. The books do use a lot of feta, parmesan, ricotta, fresh herbs (maybe a tad too much basil and lemon zest) and yogurt. I like that I'm not having to buy an ingredient for a single meal and then wonder what to do with the rest. The food has been an absolute joy to cook and make, I'm still making my way through it. I also love the way the sweet section has been composed, possibly with some better swaps but not an insane amount of calories nor ridiculous amounts of sugar- well done! I can't wait to see where the next book may lead. I think book three (if it comes), should go on a different journey where Emily showcases even more of her talent.

Disappointed sappointed in this book, if your macros counting don't bother with it
Lovely to looknat & set out well & lovely recipies with lovely photos, my inly issue considering she's a nutritionist & a lot of people are getting into a healthier mindset/lifestyles there are absolutely no macros listed on any recipies which isn't great & a real hassle if I want to make anything as I've got to list individually into MFP as a "recipe" etc etc. All in all I'm pretty disappointed macros arent added to recipies & I've bought both her books & its the same in both.

Delicious and good for you
Delicious recipes that taste amazing , you’d never guess they are healthy and good for you. Many new recipes that are not on social media accounts.

A collection of good receipts ! While they seem simple or "normal" they are really worth trying as each time you have a very tasty dish as a result!
