Cheap almost lifetime supply
I always seem to run out of the WD40 spray and looked to see if I could by like a case and Holy Smokes! is that expensive. So I bought the gallon can - great value. Probably will last me years and use the WD40 spray bottles to apply it.The one draw back is that these cans are a pain to pour out of. I know there some guy out there used to pouring solvents out of these kinds of cans who knows the proper technique since it seems these cans are industry standard. But that product itself is the real WD40 deal and it is a good dollar deal.

Most economical way to buy this WD-40
WD-40 comes in a lot of containers, most of them nowadays are spray cans of some sort. The thing is, you can pour WD-40 into an old spray bottle and it'll work just fine. WD-40 is a great all-purpose lubricant and rust preventer and remover. You can pay a lot more for other products that claim to do what WD-40 does better than WD-40 does it, but I have never really found anything that really improves on this stuff. BTW, if like me you have to store you tools in a humid basement, wiping them down with WD-40 before storing them is a great way to prevent rust.

Used as a coolant for minor metal milling
The WD-40 came in a slightly dented container, but is still a good way to buy bulk WD-40. Granted, many would be in shock at why someone would need so much at once. Maybe I need to lube up thousands of bike chains. Or I just like the smell. The reality is that it helps with small milling projects. The spray can is great for the chains and other projects, but when you need to apply a slow flow to a specific spot, using this and a bottle to control the flow, like this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005Z4RGQW?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_23 definitely helps in the process. If you are working on milling more then minor stuff, then you might want to consider purchasing a better liquid to cool the blades. This however works great for minor milling.

Great price!! Many uses!!! Love it!!!
Love WD 40 for many household uses. Cheaper to buy in this size and transfer to plastic bottle also sold by same company. A regular plastic bottle didn't work for me. I guess it requires a special plastic. It's hard to pour the can. It will be great to have an extension tube for pouring. So I transfered all the liquid to liquor glass bottles. Much easier to pour. Their web site has the list of 2000 uses which it was very helpful in finding uses. All my garden tools are now rust free.

Not GreatStuff, GREAT STUFF!
Used this on helicopter rotor blades and some other surfaces, when maintaining them for servicing offshore drilling rigs. If it can prevent corrosion from salt air, it is the good stuff. Remember, that although WD-40 provides a minor about of lubrication, it is not a lubricant. Additionally, it will, on occasion, help in removing corroded nuts but it is not a penetrating oil. If you don't expect this product to do things for which is was not designed, you will find nothing better. Just take the other properties as a bonus.

It’s WD 40?!
It’s water displacement formula 40. What else can I say? It wasn’t dented and hadn’t leaked. Yay WD40! Just don’t drink it all at once.
