I WAS ABOUT TO CRY I WAS SO HAPPY!! i love them so much but ive heard book 4 has some crazy stuff going on so i cant wait to buy kt 😭😭 anyways the art is great quality as usual and obviously well written!! GO BUY YOUR FIRST VOLUME I LOVE IT!!

I am quickly falling in love with this series because the writer is absolutely amazing, the story has so much depth and beauty to it and it’s just perfect. I got this book today and I’m already half way through. The book came is perfect quality and the art is BEAUTIFUL. 100% would recommend to anyone that likes this style of story.

obviously the book is amazing, but theres little details that are just so great, like the quality of the paper, for me, i like tabbing, and its perfect for it. i also like how the cover isnt a hard cover but its still nicely firm compared to the pages. also the art inside is so high quality as well, all the illustrations are stunning too so i would definitely recommend with book for a good read and to bask at the incredible art.

The book arrived fast (1 day earlier) and barring small scratches on the bottom that are rather unnoticeable, it’s in great condition.

It finally arrived and it’s so perfect. The illustrations are so pretty and the colors of the cover is so vibrant and nice. Can’t wait for next volume~

Am Ende des zweiten Bands hatte die Auseinandersetzung mit Xie Lians Cousin Qi Rong ihren vorläufigen Höhepunkt gefunden. Der dritte Band beginnt 800 Jahre vor diesen Ereignissen, als Xie Lian mit etwa 20 erstmals zu den Himmeln aufgestiegen ist. Seine beiden Helfer Feng Xin und Mu Qing versuchen ihn bei der Stange zu halten, denn der ehemalige Kronprinz des Reichs Xianle kann sich von den Verantwortlichkeiten seines früheren Lebens nicht lösen und als er von einer Dürrekatastrophe in der Provinz Yong'an hört, versucht er gegen alle Regeln - und die ständigen Warnungen seiner Helfer - zu helfen und verschlimmert die Situation zusehends. Dieser Rückblick nimmt einen großen Teil dieses Bands ein und zeigt sehr deutlich, wie komplex das Regieren eines Landes ist und dass ein Herrscher - in diesem Fall Xie Lians Vater - oft nur zwischen verschiedenen Übeln abwägen kann - eine sehr bittere Lektion für den jungen Gott. Das letzte Drittel des Buchs spielt dann wieder in der Zeit nach Xie Lians letztem Aufstieg und führt uns zunächst zu einem Laternenfest im Palast des Himmlischen Kaisers, wo Xie Lian (und alle anderen) eine sehr große Überraschung erleben und dann im Totenreich, wo bei einem Abenteuer um einen Geisterfötus eine neue erstaunliche Freundschaft begründet wird. Komplex, sprachlich und situativ amüsant und ein zügig und gut erzählt. Wie immer gibt es einen ausgiebigen Anhang mit den Charakteren und ihre (übersetzten) sprechenden Namen, den Orten, den Titeln, der Aussprache und einem Glossar. Und natürlich wieder die Illustrationen von ZeldaCW. Ich freue mich schon sehr auf Teil 4 und 5.

Lovely book and I'm so happy with that it has finally released in hardcover. And the art on the pages is lovely! And if you remove the dust jacket it's much more safe for those living in controversial families.
