These are great, not heavy on the coffee flavor though. These have a yoohoo-esque flavor with a kiss of coffee. The caffeine is enough to get me moving, without the sugar crash! An easy chug for a busy morning, too. Can easily drink two cans without feeling jittery, yet still feel the extra horsepower. I usually wait a good two minutes or so before opening the can after shaking it up, while covering the opening with a folded up paper towel.

This review is for both flavors of the new Killer Brew line. These 2 new flavors of the Killer Brew line (Loca Moca and Mean Bean) are the best tasting releases since the sadly discontinued Swiss Chocolate (which IMO was the BEST flavor ever released). I've been a fan of the original Loca Moca and Mean Bean flavors ever since they hit the market, but I have to say the Killer brew versions taste better than their respective originals. Normally I would have like to have seen more variety of flavors with these, but in this case the taste is actually distinct enough that I think Monster balanced it perfectly. So while Killer Brew are great additions to the line up, they couldn't replace their original flavors which remain incredibly good in their own way. Now compared to the 300 line, the Killer brew flavors are very distinct and complementary. There is no equivalent to the French Vanilla flavor, and Mocha 300 already tastes quite a bit different than either the original Loca Mocha as well as the Killer Brew Loca Mocha. So again we have great additions but nothing that could replace the 300 line. While I've heard rumors myself that these are intended to replace the 300 line, it's still just speculation. For anyone tempted to give these a negative review to try to save the 300 line, please reconsider for 2 reasons: humans tend to dismiss that type of commentary and AI Sentiment Analysis tends to ignore/misunderstand/mangle it. You'll have better luck by just going over to those product pages and giving them the excellent ratings they deserve. You can also point out in reviews of this product that you enjoy these new flavors along with your other favorite flavors of mocha 300, french vanilla 300, original Loca Mocha, and original Mean Bean and that a new flavor couldn't justify a discontinuation of an old one. In the end Monster is going to make the decisions it's going to make - but I for one am going to encourage them to continue to add and not subtract because variety is their best product. So great releases Monster! Add a Swiss Chocolate flavor and then you'll really knock it out of the park!

Regarding coffee drinks, this product is very good. Tastes great and wakes me up !! The price is a little high, other than that, I can recommend this.

In my opinion this is the best tasting killer brew and no bad after taste love them

It’s my first time trying this product and I have to say it’s pretty darn good! I drink it in a glass filled to the brim of crunchy “sonic” ice (the small pebble type ice) yumm! Even though it’s a triple shot, I didn’t get jittery. It has a pleasant taste, however the finish has a slight smoky after taste, kinda like if the coffee beans were slowly roasted over an open fire if that makes any sense. Which wasn’t a bad taste, just unexpected and kinda weird, but overall it’s a nice coffee, and I’ll be back for more!

Great value

I bought this on sale. A few of the cans came damaged probably in transit. They fixed it immediately. It has an amazing coffee/cappuccino taste and always gives me the energy I need to make it through the day. These have more energy in them than the normal Monster drinks.
