It worth buying. I bought 3 for my cats. It’s easy to set up. I only recommend introducing it to cats first the collar, then the device but with out the lid or the peace’s of plastics besides the bowl (new things + cats= phobia) and little by little introduce the rest of the feeder parts until they find it attractive and relates it to food

Very easy to set up and use, I appreciate that it alerts me when food is running low or there's an issue with the system. Holds enough food for about a week with my cats feeding schedule. Bought it to ensure the cat who naturally grazes doesn't have her food stolen by the cat with no self control, and the design works well for that purpose. The only real challenge has been that the RFID tag hangs a little low off my cat's collar, so she occasionally can be found chewing on it. Still works though! Important note: the backup batteries will only keep it running for a day or two at most.

Do not recommend for the price. It works with the collar but it closes so slow (even with the fastest setting) that my other cat comes in and eats the food while the lid is still open. Very disappointing.

Great feeder but does get jammed. Mainly the food just doesn’t fall all the way into the food bowl. My cat food is small round balls. So I can’t imagine what cat food that comes in shapes would do.But this works great for the older male cat that lives in our back yard. He can’t leave are yard because he’s too old to clear our cinderblock wall. And it keeps any other rodents or stray cats from getting into his food bowl. It has cut back on the cost of his expensive senior food that was disappearing quickly due to several neighbor cats. Definitely worth the purchase.

This works out great for me! I have two cats in different diets and the vet recommended this to ensure they don't cross-feed from each other's bowls. Very easy to set up and very easy for the cats to use! I love that you can control the LED display on the bowl so that it's off at night, and it's great having custom calls when the kibble drops.
