I thought this would be fun project from the description. I like building models and this is the first time I’ve attempted a metal one. The kit is clever especially considering you do not use any cement like you do with plastic or wood models. The fine print of the description includes the word “puzzle”. It took me a couple of hours with the instructions and the model parts to come to the conclusion that this kit is a journey and not a destination. Once I adopted that attitude, I found it was fun but I was initially a bit frustrated. I estimate I used over 8 hours to complete the model and mine does not look as good as the pictures. If I were to make another one, it would take me less time. I ended up using a lighted magnifier and a variety of small metal working tools to finish the job. I consider it quite challenging; those that see the finished project have no idea of the effort I put into it.
