Perfect fit and I love it for my apartment door. There's no problem with my leasing company since it just clamps to the door. It does not effect the operation of my door either. Love that when the battery needs changed I can just slip in the release tool and pop it off without having to take it off the door and unscrew the doorbell

Thought this thing would slide down or something over time but it has worked for months without issue. Prefer this to the mount by the door. It's good quality, sturdy, the right size, fits the cam easily, super quick to install. Very happy.

This mount does exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s a smart, simple solution for renters or anyone who can’t permanently install a doorbell camera. Great idea. I only have one critique: when you tighten the clamp, the bracket bends easily, which causes it to flare outward into the door jamb and create friction. I believe this issue is partly due to the bracket being oversized to fit a wide range of door thicknesses. A closer fit would likely reduce this problem. It’s unclear if reinforcing the corner of the bracket is possible without sacrificing its compatibility with varying door widths. Still, as it stands, there’s a compromise between tightening it enough for security and avoiding interference with the door frame. I’m deducting one star because of this design flaw—but overall, it’s a very functional and convenient product.

After someone ripped my original Wyze doorbell off the wall and broke the mounting plate, I decided to try this anti-theft mount. At first, I gave it 4 stars because even with this setup, you still need the original Wyze bracket, which is just plastic and seemed easy to remove. But recently, someone actually tried to steal my doorbell camera a second time. If it weren’t for this anti-theft mount, they would’ve succeeded. I was shocked by how well it held up, it didn’t budge at all. I assumed this might be a cheap add-on, but it’s incredibly durable and secure. Setup was easy once I had the replacement bracket. It clamps firmly without any drilling, which makes it perfect for renters. The camera fits snugly, sound quality isn’t affected, and it’s easy to access the battery for charging. This mount literally saved my doorbell from being stolen again. Highly recommend to anyone with a Wyze cam.

I should've paid better attention to the reviews. I thought the measurements would work with my door, but it wouldn't close with the mount on.

It’s ok. There’s a $20/mth option. Which isn’t bad but it doesn’t record without the SIM card in it and even then it picks and chooses when it wants to catch what I selected to capture. For instance the option to catch cars or people. I’ve heard a lot of commotion out front before and went to look there’s a car in front of my door as well as people talking no notification at all. So I’m looking for another one. I like the look of it and the app is functional. Easy to install. Easy to connect. Battery life last about a week and a few days. Another downside if you don’t have doorbell wires you’ll have to take it down to recharge it should be slightly less IMO

I didn't want to drill holes in the brick wall or use adhesive to hang my Wyze duo cam doorbell. I wanted something more secure and it couldn't fit the old universal mount because it blocked the view of the bottom lense. This mount is not bulky like my old one, fits my door, secure and it's a lot easier to remove and switch batteries.
