Great for handmade conditioner
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I ordered this product to add to my own conditioner. I really like the versatility of this powder, and how much it enhances the softness in my hair when added to conditioner. I highly recommend this powder to others.

Very easy and effective to use by adding to skincare you already own
I'm really happy with this provitamin B5 powder. This 4 oz bag will probably last me a life time but it expires in June 2026 so I better use it fast. I haven't done much research on it which is why it took me time to review it, but it is very good for your skin & hair. This packet is for skincare and not the type you can take as a supplement. There are online videos by people who can explain better than me, but the gist of what I understood is that I can add B5 to existing hair conditioners and shampoos up to 2-5% of the content. I also tried making my own toner/serum after reading another view for the product. In an 8 oz spray bottle as she indicated, I mixed equal parts glycerin and toner so I didn't add a preservative since the toner probably already has it. I added about 1 tsp which is about 2-3g of B5 and that makes about 2% of the toner/serum. I'm finding it very moisturizing so I can even thin it out so I am working on the ratios, but I have also added the B5 to shampoos and conditioners by mixing it with some distilled water and adding it to the bottles. I'm excited to be trying these and making the products I have even better. If you are at all interested in DIY or willing to try new things, this is a worthwhile activity.

Makes my DIY moisturizer more nourishing
In an 8 oz spray bottle, I mixed equal parts filtered water and vegetable glycerin to create a hydrating base. To improve its texture and shelf life, I added a teaspoon of ethylhexylglycerin, which also helps condition the skin. For an extra boost, I included a small amount of the provitamin B5 powder, roughly half a gram. After shaking everything together, I ended up with a lightweight, fast-absorbing moisturizer. I feel it works better than any of the commercial products I’ve tried. It’s free from unnecessary chemicals and additives, easy to make, and has become a staple in my daily skincare routine. Plus, I know exactly what’s in it.

Wonderful ingredient for DIY recipes, love it in my serum!
I have used this to add to my DIY hyaluronicacid serum for extra skin hydrating benefits and I absolutely love it. I include this, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin in distilled water- store in fridge and use quickly or also add a preservative. It is so affordable to make facial-quality skincare, that I can afford to treat my body skin to the same treatments.
