I haven't run into some of the issues others have for this power supply, but I'm also not an expert user. It works, it's quiet, and the build quality seemed ok to me. It fit in my case easily enough, screws all went in without issues, and the cables feel very nice. It came with screws and some zip ties which were helpful!

Installation & Cabling: Installation was simple, and everything fit snugly. I’m using the standard 3x 8-pin for the 3090, but it’s nice knowing the 12V-2x6 cable is included in case I upgrade to a future PCIe 5.1 card later on. No loose connectors, no weird bends required — and unlike some modular PSUs I’ve dealt with, the ports on the unit are clearly labeled and firmly seated. Performance & Stability: Despite powering a very power-hungry setup, this PSU hasn’t flinched once. The 12900KS, even under boost/load, can be a voltage-hungry CPU, especially paired with the 3090 — but even during max load stress testing (Cinebench + Heaven benchmark running together), rails stayed completely stable, no crashes or brownouts, and no sign of power-related instability. Noise & Efficiency: Corsair nailed the noise levels. During idle and light gaming, the fan doesn't even spin up. Even when it does under load, it’s so quiet it fades into the background of my other case fans. My case has good airflow, but the fan curve on this PSU is genuinely impressive. It’s also Cybenetics Gold rated, and the system draws power very efficiently — I've been monitoring wattage via a smart plug, and it lines up well with published benchmarks for power efficiency. Extras & Future-Proofing: ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 ready 105°C-rated Japanese capacitors (a must for long-term reliability) Modern Standby support works perfectly — fast wake times, zero sleep issues in Windows 11 Final Thoughts: For anyone running a high-end system like mine — especially with power-hungry components like the i9-12900KS and RTX 3090 — this PSU offers peace of mind. I've used Corsair power supplies for years. Well recently I updated my PC and needed a bigger Power supply. So I bought one that WASN"T corsair because I thought that "Its just a Power Supply I'll be fine and cheap out on it" Turns out the one I bought, the PCIE cable was super weird and had way too many extra cables. The CPU cord just was not long enough, so I was not able to have nice looking cable management. And to top it all off my PC would boot up but instantly shut down. So instead of messing with it, I just bought this Power Supply. And it has all the correct cables you need, all the appropriate lengths. And I love that you can choose which cables you need and which ones you do not. It makes for a nice clean look for your PC. I hooked up all the appropriate cables, and it powered up and worked first try. So all in all lesson learned, I will be sticking for CORSAIR power supplies for the rest of my life!

Awesome power supply, I love the fully modular capabilities and the inclusion of a 12v hpwr connector for my 5070 ti. Dead quiet too.

Works perfectly and comes with all cords needed to power on my pc. I do recommend looking at what cords your specific pc needs or else you might be short a few.

Good psu. Not sure I have ever noticed any noise, though I do usually game with a headset anyway. Looks good, works perfectly, and fits in my matx case without charging me a sff tax. Lian li has 'em beat on cable combs, but other than that I an very happy with this PSU. This and Lian Li edge are probably my gold standard for ATX sized power supplies. Might be trouble if you need more power connectors though. One thing to watch for: I have upgraded the GPU since this pic was taken, and had I chosen a gpu with 3 of the 8 pin power connectors, I'd have been out of luck as my motherboard uses 2 olf the 8 pin connectors on its own, and the PSU only has 4 of them. There are models that have more 8 pin connectors, but this one exchanges them for one of those 12 v connectors that have been burning up GPU connectors. not a concern for everyone, just make sure this matches your other parts and needs.

I recently built a new computer and decided that my old Corsair RM850X needed to be retired. I chose the PSU because, for me, Corsair has always been a rock solid choice. They are priced competitively and I have never had an issue with power rails or delivery. I used custom cables so the color of the PSU itself wasn't really an issue. The cable length would have been long enough had I used them and they seemed to be high quality material. It's currently powering an AMD ryzen 9 9900x and a 7900xtx with no issues. I have 7 140mm fans, a 420mm aio and lots of RGB and it doesn't skip a beat. It may make me a Corsair fanboy but I will continue using their products until they give me a reason not to.
