I was on the fence about trying a set from someone other than the big brand, but after building this set I’m sold on Funwhole/Lumibricks and can’t wait to pick up another set (got my eye on the book cafe!). The build was full of interesting techniques and it’s beautiful inside and out. It’s also much bigger than I expected, it’s got a real presence on display. I took quite a few hours-long sessions to complete it but it never got dull or repetitive. The quality of the bricks and prints are fantastic, and the same goes for the outer and internal boxes. The instructions were very clear, especially when it came to placing and hiding the wiring for the lights - I was concerned that the electrics would be complicated, but everything you need comes clearly labelled, it’s just a matter of laying the wires and connecting them to each other. The finished effect of the lighting is amazing - you can see all the inside details through the many windows, and it’s bright enough to be visible in a well-lit room. I got this set on sale and with a coupon, but even at full price it would have felt like a bargain. If you’re on the fence about trying this set or brand I’d recommend going for it!

As an avid lego builder I decided to try something different and found this set. The lighting drew me in and the quality is as good if not better than lego. The pieces stick together really well and the kit resembles the 'modular' series from lego. They would blend in and I would presume people wouldn't know it isn't lego. Looking forward to buying more to add to my collection.

I thought I’d give this ago when Lego got a little expensive… particularly the themed sets. And having read good reviews I jumped in…. These sets are BRILLIANT!! I’m now on my fourth. I’ve built the antique store, the skate shop, the gelato store and about to start the theatre. The LED kits included are wonderful and add real character, and the pieces are just as good as Lego. Same size. If you’re wondering whether to try it, just do it. I’ve attached photos of other sets so you can see the quality

I was a bit unsure weather this would be as good as Lego, BUT I was pleasantly surprised it was better, the parts fitted nice and tight which made stronger then the Lego buildings at double the cost. The only downside is the lights did not work above the ground floor, I think the connectors need to be replaced

Too many pieces missing , the further I try to do this build it's very frustrating. Have had many funwhole sets but this has to be the worst
