It works great. Before I bought this, every time I'd get my hair washed at the salon, I'd have to see my NUCCA doctor (Chiropractor) afterward. It's much more comfortable on my neck.

Most comfortable for people that get neck pain during the shampoo. I do seem to wet the floor when I use it , so I only use for a couple of clients.

I’ve previously purchased this item and what I received yesterday was lower quality. I was noticing my current neck rest shifting around a bit, so I wanted to purchase a new one to see if it clung to the shape of the shampoo bowl better. Unfortunately it was worse! You can see the image with two neck rests - the bottom is the newer one. The stitching is odd and the cushion is not the same! :(

I love this head rest! This one fits better than the original one that came with my shampoo bowl. It stays put and hair doesn’t get caught underneath it. I also don’t get my clients back wet anymore either because the neck cushion gives a better seal between the neck and the bowl.

I was excited for this. It was the Amazon overall pick. It did not fit in my shampoo bowl at all. The block was worthless. I had 3 different people sit at my bowl to see & it made zero difference. The block just hangs low. Total waste. It actually was just in my way when shampooing.

Very comfortable and sticks well to the side of the sink. I had to apply a little force to remove it.

Water gets in between the neck rest and the wash basin, so clients get soaked. There's no instructions on how to attach this to the wash basin permanently to avoid this problem.

Quality is sturdy, clients like the head rest area. Only thing it doesn’t sit securely in neck rest, it doesn’t grab the porcelain, it slides around. It easily moves around.

The cushion is soft, but this does not protect at all against neck pain: it is so soft that the neck soon reaches the hard plastic frame below.
