I LOVE THIS SKIRT! My daughter wanted to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast for Halloween and unfortunately every costume has a big, beautiful dress that just hangs flat once it's put on. The costume ends up looking terrible - until you put a hoop skirt underneath. You have no idea how many hoop skirts I looked at before taking a chance and ordering this one - probably hundreds over different apps and websites. Seriously, there was an entire week where I did nothing but comb the internet for the perfect hoop skirt. Nothing seemed to have that 'princess poofyness' I was looking for. I even started looking at what it would take to just make one myself, but I can't sew and don't have a sewing machine, so I had to give up on that idea pretty immediately. I finally went with this one based entirely on pictures people posted in their reviews. This skirt was the right amount of poof and was easy for my daughter to move around in. I think the separate layers of material on top of each hoop gave it that extra 'princess poof'! The skirt has three flexible hoops, so she was able to sit down, as well. The skirt has an elastic waist band, three sets of double hook and eye claps to fit a variety of sizes, and a corded tie to go around the waist, as well. My daughter is 5-years old and on the petite side, so my mom added an additional set of hook and eye claps to take it in another three or so inches. The skirt lays flat and there's a way that it can be folded/collapsed on itself so it's super compact, but I have absolutely no idea how to do that. It comes shipped that way, though, so pay attention when you first open it up, because it would be so much easier to store in a drawer or something if you know how to do that! It is the perfect length, as well - while her Belle dress had to be hemmed and altered quite a bit (thank you to Grandma!) to keep it off the floor so she wasn't tripping with every step, this skirt was the PERFECT length and my mom actually used it as the blueprint for making length alterations to the Belle dress. Seeing my daughter's face when she put her costume on, complete with hoop skirt, was so worth it, she truly felt like a princess and couldn't stop twirling around! She wore it to her kindergarten Halloween party and trick-or-treating and never had a problem! It held its shape perfectly. She got SO MANY compliments and was beaming ear-to-ear the whole time! If your kid has any kind of princess dress, party dress, etc., you REALLY need a hoop skirt. It makes a night and day difference and totally transforms the entire look. Really, really get this! This petticoat is perfect! It's beautiful! I had her try it on when it arrived. It helped make my daughter's flower girl dress a bit fuller, giving it a princesslike look without making the dress skirt look lumpy or bulky! I wanted a petticoat without hoops. I was concerned about her comfort. My concerns were put to ease. She said it is very comfortable to sit. The petticoat in and of itself is very pretty. The fabric is light and breathable. The best part is it has an adjustable velcro waistband and a drawstring tie! Perfect for my little girl who is tall and very slim!

Puffy but adjustable. The waistband has a draw string and clasp that was great for functionality.

So my daughter is 8 but about to be 9 and she’s a little bit tall for her age and I think had I sized up the length would have been perfect but the waist fits really well so we’ll make it work!

Thought it was 4 hoops ot is only 3 the tires part is longer than expected but like that it clasps and ties. I had to roll it up to make it work.

Runs a little big so I would suggest sizing down. This made my daughter’s Halloween Elsa costume look like a real princess. She loved wearing the petticoat .

Definitely bigger than it says. I ordered one for my 12 year old daughter and it fit a grown midsized adult. I would order a size down but awesome. Very happy does what I need it to do and I think it’s very good quality.

This is the ultimate Dinsey princess petticoat! it is lovely and full and the material is very light and breathable. I will say that I needed to order larger for the right length but the waist is a bit larger than my daughter's-nothing a little pinning and sewing won't fix but just want to put it out there. She is so excited to wear this under her dress and I forsee it being a HUGE hit!
