Incredibly Moisturizing and Effective! This lightweight lotion has been a game-changer for my dry skin. While the scent isn’t my favorite, it’s perfect as a base layer—especially before events—since I can easily apply a more fragrant lotion on top. My doctor recommended this brand of lotion to help with some dry skin on my legs caused by living with Chronic Kidney Disease. I tried other brands that cost much less, but my dry skin remained. Once I ordered this, I was in shock with not only how well it works, but how quickly it works. It goes on very smooth and gives your skin an almost instant smoothness. I did not experience any irritation, which is one possible side effect when people first start using it. It is absorbed by your skin quickly and does not leave behind a greasy feel. The only slightly negative is that it has a distinct (but not bad) smell. I started off with the daily 12% version and then went up to the 15% version to see if there was any noticeable difference. The 15% version seems to work even faster on dry skin around varicose veins. I wish I would have switched to this brand earlier. While it is on the higher price side of lotions, it is a great value based on the improvements is makes to your skin and quality of life (no more rough, dry, itchy skin).

I have Hashimoto’s and get super dry, flaky skin—especially in the fall and winter—and honestly, this is the only lotion that keeps it under control. It does have a bit of a scent—not perfumey, just kind of “clinical”—but I’ll take that any day if it means my skin doesn’t feel like sandpaper. Total game-changer for dry skin warriors. I use with a body oil to cut the scent, but honestly, I don't even smell it anymore since i've used this for so long.

I've been using this for a week or so. My skin is amazingly soft! So far, I just use it on arms, legs, and hands. I can definitely tell a big difference. However, the smell is quite strong at first. To me it smells like ammonia. Like the way hair Salons used to smell back in the day. That's the only reason I'm giving this a 4 instead of a 5. I use this product only at night every other night. I might eventually use it with a good smelling lotion on top. The good out ways the bad smell in my opinion. Give it a try and see how you like it.

This lotion has improved my skin so much! Also helps with rough scaly spots on my skin. It was recommended by my dermatologist. Only thing I hate is the price😟😄

I lovvve me some amlactin intensive healing body lotion. It sits well with my skin. The only problem i have is the smell or scent. . Please do scent free ones for some of us.

I'll start with the positives. This stuff works great. Like incredibly great! I have very dry skin and this stuff has made major improvements in my crispy, gross, bumpy, long-suffering winter skin after just a few days of use. It's truly amazing. Moving on to the negatives: Other reviewers who say it has an "odd" smell are apparently very kind people, or don't actually have real noses. This stuff stinks to high heaven. It has, for me, an intolerably bad smell. Like a combination of ammonia + cat pee + something petrochemical-ish + maybe some notes of rotting carcass. It's horrific, the smell. Like I want to run away from my own self while I apply it and I actively hate smelling myself after I've put it on. To be fair, the smell *does" dissipate after about 30 minutes, but I still smell it, faintly, many hours after having applied it, and then I want to run away from myself all over again. I haven't asked my husband if he can smell it on me, because I'm scared to know his answer. As a more neutral, though not entirely positive, point of feedback, it goes on sticky and tacky, but that does diminish some after a while, so that you'll be just a little bit sticky by hour 4 and your underpants should cease to stick to your butt cheeks at that time. As to the price: Sure, it's relatively expensive, but it does work beautifully, and perhaps smelling like something that's dead or dying is worth it to you! To summarize: - Pros: This stuff works beautifully and lives up to its advertised promises. I desperately want to love it. - Cons: The price you'll pay for beautiful skin is smelling like a rotting BCE dinosaur corpse that's been doused with 40 pounds of very old and dirty cat litter.

Consistency is key when using KP creams. I've found that applying it regularly, usually once or twice a day, yields the best results. Over time, I've noticed a reduction in redness and a significant decrease in the number of bumps. While it may not completely eliminate the condition, it certainly makes it much less noticeable.
