I was really pleased at the quality of these treads for the price. They have two thin lines of adhesive and stick tightly to the stairs. It’s been about 3 weeks since I installed them, and there has been absolutely no movement of the treads - and these go to my basement, so they get a lot of wear. I highly recommend these if you need a simple solution to make steps safer and also protect the stair itself. The rug is a low pile and not ideal for stairs where you might need something softer or more visually appealing. These are perfect for utilitarian purposes. Update: It has been almost two years since I installed these treads, and they look just as good as the first day I put them in. They are constantly being walked on heavily, so I’m super impressed with how they have held up. Worth every penny!!!

Yes. Yes. And YES!!!!! STOP LOOKING AND BUY! I was wanting something for our stairs because my toddler fell down them. I purchased 2 baby gates but I wanted something to help him climb and stabilize.. and also soften the fall a bit if he does fall again. THESE ARE AMAZING!!!!! Great price, and they stick really well. Though I added carpet tape.. I ran out and the ones I didn't use the tape on stick just as well as the ones that have the extra tape. And they were so easy to install. They look really good too. I cant say enough good things about these. I'm so glad I purchased them.

These stair treads are thin, but decent quality. The rubberized backing keeps them in place on the steps fairly well even without carpet tape. They move sideways a bit, but have never come off the step even with two dogs running up and down the stairs.

Bought these for daughter in her new house. I ordered them one day, they were delivered the next day. She and the grandkids love them, no more fear of slipping, no more bruises. She says they're soft on the feet, no problems there with her hyper sensitive little ones' skin. She's waiting for some appliques to be delivered to decorate back of each step so she doesn't have to permanently change the backs' color with paint.

Installed on stairs without trouble. Had to trim using very sharp knife to fit two top steps that turn toward the landing. The adhesive strips hold the treads very well. These treads appear to be long-wearing and add security.

They look as I expected, seems to be durable and well made. However, the adhesive tape came off and tore some clear coat and paint off my steps. I ended up nailing them down.

I am impressed! I searched weeks to find the right treads for a decent price and I hit the jackpot with these! Extremely easy to install, but take your time! The adhesive strips are decent but not if you misplace and have to remove and replace so TAKE YOUR TIME! I've had mine down for a few weeks and haven't had a single problem! I have 5 rough housing dogs that like to fly up and down the stairs so I was worried... but to my pleasant surprise, they have held up wonderfully!

Purchase because I have an older dog and she kept falling down the stairs, plus there are small children in my home and wanted the stairs to be safer for them. Have had for a little over a month and no falls, however I did slip once because them came loose. The sticky backing that comes on it is just not strong enough. I had to purchase double-sided tape to reinforce them. Otherwise a great purchase that gives my stairs a nice look as well as makes them safer.
