I've only been out of school for a few years but certainly needed a refresher on basic PK/PD principles and pharmacology of major drug classes. I'm absolutely loving this book so far. The PK/PD is explained in very easy to understand terms, and I have a much better grasp of basic pharmacological principles. My only regret is not buying this book sooner when I was in pharmacy school, would have helped immensely preparing for exams. This book has reminded me how much I enjoy the science of pharmacy! Wonderful resource for pharmacology!

I can't give it enough reviews. This is a good read, gets to the point.. won't put you to sleep. LIR...This is one of the best series of science books that does exactly what the LIR stands for " Illustrated Reviews". Doesn't use overblown words. Not dumbed down....just connects the dots.
