I was excited to fill the Step 2 water table for all summer fun! I placed the table in the shade under a couple back yard trees. Huge mistake. After a day or two the water was filled with leaves and whatever else might have fallen in the water there! Yuck! After moving it, I sanitized it and filled it again. Leaves still blew. There were bugs along with, I'm sure, bird dodoo, etc. A quick film coated the toy basins that were filled with, now greenish water. I gave up! I turned it upside and didn't take it out for play again last summer.I'm ecstatic I found this WELL-MADE, STURDY cover on Amazon. It fit perfectly and kept all the yuck out of the water basins, built into the toy structure. I emptied out the water when I knew we wouldn't go out in the next couple of days, and then easily put the cover on. It kept the toy clean and dry for a fresh fill and more fun play! Wohooo! MOM SCORE! I can even put it back under trees in the shade.

This was a little oversized for our sand table but it works perfectly. The bottom can be cinched to tighten it around the base of the table and there are velcro straps that fasten around the legs to make it extra secure. It withstood some pretty heavy rains this summer and still looks great.
