Bought this no-name (looks like a rebadged Hasivo or YuanLey OEM) unmanaged 10Gbe switch for $119 on a Lightning Deal and I’m honestly shocked at how good it is for the money. What you get: 2 × 10Gbase-T RJ45 ports (real 10 Gbit/s, Cat6a or better) 4 × 2.5Gbase-T RJ45 ports (backwards compatible with 1G/100M) Tiny fanless metal case, completely silent 12V 1.5A wall-wart power supply (included) Real-world performance My desktop (10G NIC) ↔ Synology DS1823xs+ (10G port) hits sustained 1.12 GB/s (9.4 Gbps) copying large 4K/8K video files. Zero packet loss, rock solid. My three 2.5Gbe devices (PS5, Shield TV, WiFi 6E AP on 2.5Gbe port) all negotiate 2.5Gbps instantly and run without issues. Plugged my old 1Gbe devices into the remaining ports and everything just works – no compatibility drama. Build & heat 100% passive cooling, case gets warm (around 55-60°C under full 10G load) but totally fine. No thermal throttling even after 24-hour file transfers. Feels like a solid chunk of aluminum. Pros Dirt cheap for true 10G copper + multi-gig ports Truly plug-and-play unmanaged (literally zero config) Silent, low power (~8-10W idle, ~18W max) Small enough to velcro under the desk Cons (minor) No link aggregation / LACP (it’s unmanaged, expected) Power supply cable is only 3ft long No mounting ears (but it’s so light it doesn’t matter) If you just need a fast, dumb switch to connect a NAS, gaming PC, and a couple multi-gig devices without spending $300+ on a Trendnet or QNAP, this thing is an absolute no-brainer. Already ordered a second one for the office. Highly recommended – saved me from buying a way more expensive “name brand” switch that does the exact same thing. 10/10 for the price.

When I wanted to build my own NAS using and older system and a 10Gbe card, this was the solution that I used. Most of my regular computers either had 2.5Gbe or 1Gbe, so I could daisy-chain a 1Gbe switch form my slower devices and link the faster units on the better switch. Data transfers were noticeablily faster. This unit handled Jumbo Frames without a glitch. Currently using 16128 byte frames.

Worked great until the fan died after 13 months. Replacement fans are about $10 and easy to install.

I use this switch to connect to a remote server with a 10 Gbps ethernet port, and to other 2.5 Gbps and 1 Gbps devices around it. It is stable and I have not had any problems since installing it a month ago. It is in an attractive package and operates as advertised. It sometimes seems like it is a little slow to connect at full 10Gbps speed - it seems like it hesitates when you first connect to it. I don't really know how to measure this, and it could very well be my imagination. I have purchased a couple more, and I would purchase it again.

Ma première impression est plutôt bonne en terme de solidité puisque que le livreur l'a littéralement jeté par dessus mon portail sur mon allée en béton alors que j'étais présent (c'est pour cette raison que je retire une étoile). Espérons que ça n'aura pas d'incidence sur sa durée de vie. Sinon, il gère parfaitement les différents appareils raccordés (Ordis/NAS/switch/Box Ethernet/relais WiFi extérieur) , quelles que soient leur bandes passantes (1/2.5/10 Gbits). Il est silencieux et chauffe beaucoup moins que mon second Switch NETGEAR (MS108EUP) qui m'a couté nettement plus cher mais qui a 4 ports alimentés.

This probably has to be the easiest switch I ever used. Plugged it into any port on my wifi router and all devices can see each other and get internet. Packaging was standard. Delivery was next day. Very nice so far. 10Gbit link detected instantly by my NIC Currently waiting for other parts to arrive to test speed, will update review once data attained.

Mi sono ritrovato in una situazione complicata che pensavo di risolvere via software ma non c'è stato verso. Dovevo collegare un NAS con due porte da 10GB a un router che ha solo uscite da 2.5GB e il risultato era che il PC rimaneva isolato dal web. Questo switch NICGIGA è arrivato al momento giusto e ha risolto tutto. La confezione è essenziale ma curata e lo switch si presenta subito molto solido grazie al guscio in metallo che aiuta a dissipare il calore visto che non ha ventole ed è silenziosissimo. Grazie alle dimensioni ridottissime ma con la struttura robusta sono riuscito a fissarlo direttamente sotto la scrivania. Praticamente è diventato invisibile e non ho cavi in giro per il tavolo. Appena collegato ha fatto tutto da solo con il DHCP e ora ho finalmente il PC e il NAS che comunicano a 10GB pieni mentre entrambi navigano su internet senza problemi. Ho approfittato delle porte libere per collegarci anche la stampante di rete e tutto gira a meraviglia. Per 119 euro circa è una soluzione definitiva e molto più economica di altri marchi famosi. Consigliato a chi vuole velocità e ordine sulla scrivania.
