Purchased this for a wedding. Easy to install and use. Battery lasted through an 8 hour wedding. Good value and quality lighting for the price. Definitely recommend.

The Godox V1-C has been a fantastic addition to my photography gear. The round head design delivers beautifully even light with natural falloff, and it’s especially great for portrait work. The magnetic modifier system is a huge bonus—it makes on-the-go adjustments fast and easy. I’ve been impressed with the fast recycle times, long-lasting battery life, and consistent performance across sessions. The TTL and HSS functions work flawlessly with my Canon setup, and the built-in 2.4G wireless X system integrates perfectly with other Godox lights in my kit. This is the USA version, so it includes the proper warranty and peace of mind knowing I’m covered. Love this product, I mounted it on my Sony A6000 and have great results. Love the quality, brightness and portability. Additionally, battery life is GOOD it fluctuates so I’m not sure if it’s me or the battery is no good.

Very nice flash for Sony a7iv camera (V1-S). Provides a lot of light for your camera and photography. This is a large flash unit, typical for output. Like that the head of flash is round. Appears to be quality build. Note that replacement hot shoe for flash is offered. No problem so far with shoe. Battery included is a large rechargeable li-ion that is reported to be good for around 400 flashes, 2980 mah. Comes with basic battery charger. Be prepared for steep learning curve as this flash has an incredibly complex list of functions. Ability to tilt flash head 90 degrees forward in increments and more limited back. Use for bounce of light as you desire (typical for this style flash). Daylight type of flash. Included instruction leave a lot to be desired. Alternative videos on how to set up and use can be found. You can also find step by step written guidance on line. Godox should provide this type of information with the flash. Look at Godox web page for support. Will be using this for limited wedding photos. Comes with a nice carry case. Consider the magnetic flash diffuser which is NOT included (Inexpensive). Great alternative to Sony brand of flash (1/3 cost) for same guide number. Bought Easy Hood TTL flash cord for off camera use (MI shoe-X002FDW2T). Recommend Alternative models for Canon and Nikon

This thing is amazing! It’s way bigger than I was expecting which is fine I like it! The light quality is so so good I can’t wait to use it on a wedding I have coming up!

I love Godox! I need splashes are amazing. Not having to use pocket wizards anymore has always been a delight since I switched over from actual Nikon flashes to this brand. The accessories for the splash are great however, I have two complaints, which are not dealbreaker. 1. The bounce card that magnetically attaches to the top of the flash constantly fall off. I wish they made something like they're older flash models, where the bounce card is literally inside the flash and you can just pull it up when needed. 2. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY, please make your flash internal focus beam work with mirrorless cameras! When I used their flashes with DSLR's, I was able to focus in the darkest situations. But for some dumb reason, they have not fixed this issue my really good friend who is a huge photographer, and I were complaining about this at the top of our lungs the other day. We could not understand why this feature has been eliminated since hardly anybody is using DSLR cameras anymore. Please fix this issue so that the Laser focus beam on your flashes work with the latest technology!!!!

I bought the Godox V1 (V1-C) for my photography business and it’s been an excellent addition to my kit. The rechargeable battery lasts surprisingly long — I’ve used it on long shoots without worrying about swapping AA batteries in the middle of a session. The round head produces beautiful, soft light that looks more natural than my older rectangular speedlights. Setup is quick and simple — I’ve used it both mounted on my camera and off-camera with a trigger, and it syncs perfectly every time. The controls are intuitive, so there was hardly any learning curve. So far, I honestly have no complaints. For the price, the Godox V1 offers pro-level performance without breaking the bank. Highly recommend this for any portrait, event, or wedding photographer looking to upgrade their flash system.
