I simply adjusted my computer's DVD drive to be region-2 and can play these on the computer just fine. Just be aware that you can only change the DVD region a limited number of times. This a great series!

You need a region free DVD player for this, otherwise, decent quality and such a great show.

This set is part of a gift package so have not yet opened the pack. The series was a timeless, well made BBC unit and Acorn have prepared it well for sale. I purchased on the basis of having watched the episodes many years ago and assume contents and disc quality are first class and ready to go; will know in a few weeks. This and a number of other BBC comedy series, are excellent, funny and entertaining--they retain a quality that will hold audience attention, for years to come. 4 stars as I haven't confirmed contents yet.
