Effective. I have been taking one bael tablet in the morning on an empty stomach along with isabgol (psyllium husks) and one more tablet at night and so far this regime has helped me in controlling stomach infections and IBS. Bael fruit works very well too but it is not available throughout the year. So, for the rest of the year, this is the best alternative. A general advice to people who suffer from stomach or digestive ailments. What worked for me most is to stay away from all wheat products. I do not know if it will work for everyone though, but there is no harm in not eating them, say for a month, and see if that makes any difference. If you try this, please remember that absolutely eliminating all wheat (atta) and flour (maida) products is needed. Partial abstention may not have any effect.

I am using this tablet from last many years for small digestion related issues. The quality of the tablet is good.

I found it very beneficial for IBS. It takes time to work though-2-3 weeks in my case and I'm still taking it(usually ayurvedic medicines should be consumed for 1.5 to 3 months). Along with other things like maintaining good digestive diet, taking less stress or relaxing adequately and consuming other good digestive things like probiotics(yakult),digestive biscuits(nutrichoice digestive zero), consuming easier to digest foods,lavanbhaskar churna(for digestion),buttermilk etc, this think works wonders. There is no more sudden irregular motions or lack of control over motions compared to earlier. Though stress can make things worse at times but it's much better and under control with this one! I usually take it 2 times a day around 8-12 hours apart. Sometimes I take bilwadi churna also, once churna and once this tablet in a day. I found that it works better than bilwadi churna as there is better bowel control with this one. Bilwadi is not very strong as earlier I was taking bilwadi churna only but it didn't work well and also if I forgot to take it sometimes then bowel control was very less. But I still take it along with this medicine as it is good for digestion and digestion strength. I strongly recommended this medicine for IBS, it will take time but it will surely work.
