I purchased this pink Laifen hair dryer as a gift to my son’s girlfriend after she fell in love with mine during their last visit. It’s so quiet and powerful, controls are easy to manipulate and comes with the two most useful attachments, a focused beam for curling or flattening, and a diffuser for my son’s girlfriend with long wavy hair. I love the magnetic action of the attachments which make quick work of switching. Its compact design makes it easy to travel with and it works so well and dries my hair so quickly that I always take it with me to spare me the hotel dryers. Ive had mine (red) for years and it is reliable, well made, and have I mentioned how quiet it is compared to older standard blowdryers. Much less expensive than the popular donut hole design dryer, it works just as well at half the price. Highly recommend.

I never thought a hair dryer could make a difference with my long, fine hair. This one does. Not only is it quiet but it leaves my hair smooth. My fluffy "halo" is gone! It's the best dryer I've ever had, well worth the money. It's not too heavy or too big and is very powerful. It dries quickly. I highly recommend this dryer.

I really like this dryer! I have chin-length hair, and it dries it quickly and the dryer is so quiet, unlike my last. I primarily use the hot setting on medium airflow, as high just blows it too much to style. It seems to leave my hair shinier, and with less frizzies at the part line. And the shorter barrel makes it easier to hold since I don't have to hold the dryer as far away from my head. I haven't experimented with it too much on the varying heat setting - I think that would work best when drying it right after a shower, where I usually let my hair airdry a while first. I can't speak to longevity, as I've only had the dryer a week, but I would recommend giving it a try.

i love love love this hair dryer! for years i’ve struggled with frizzy flyaway hair and therefore have hated my hair. i’ve straightened it both chemically and with blowouts, flat irons, curling irons, etc. still frizz frizz frizz. i’ve recently started following a wavy girl hair routine. this hair dryer was recommended by one of the content creators i follow so i thought i would give it a try. it is the first hair dryer i’ve used that does not cause frizz! so far i have used it solely on the cool setting until my hair is 80% dry and let it finish via air dry. i then use argan oil to break the cast. pros: -small and lightweight -attachments connect magnetically so they don’t fall off while being used (love this!) and can be quickly switched out -the control buttons are right beneath your fingers and easily adjusted -nice cord length neutral: -quieter than regular hair dryer without attachments. just as loud with them but noise is higher pitched. cons: -button to adjust temperature up or down is easily pressed accidentally because it sits just under the fingers as one holds the handle

I love the style of the dryer, its compact but mighty, it's light weight. I like how you can make it cycle through cool, warm to hot with one pish of a button, however, it is very loud, and a high pitch, if you put it on high-speed its so loud, but it does dry faster.

Dries fast without damaging your hair. Very quiet and seems to dry hair fast and without a lot of heat. Great product!

High quality hair dryer, worth the price. (Especially on Amazon Prime day) Well presented in a box similar to apple products. This makes a good impression. Great for a gift. Sound: I don’t think it is “quiet”, but is quieter than the old dryer I have. Easy controls, easy magnetic attachments pop on and off as needed. I have mine up on a stand, and love the cool/strong setting to dry off my body in the summer after a shower. It’s that kind of strong. A little like a Dyson hand dryer. I recommend it if you need a better dryer. One improvement I would suggest is to have the button instruction permanently printed on the handle. It comes with the button instructions printed on the cover wrap of the handle. So when you take the wrapping off, all the button instructions go away. I would suggest leaving the wrapping on the handle for a while.

The child mode is a gimmick. And not even sure it really is there. There is no mention of it in the entire user manual. And when I double press the temp button to activate, like it shows in the video, it either just circulates through the next to 2 temps or goes to the cold setting. I do not recommend for thin hair or for people who like to use their hair dryer for styling versus simply drying. There isn't a low enough air speed setting to keep the hair on a round brush in place. The low on this is the same as high on my old hair dryer. I get that speed is important for quick drying, but I don't understand why it can't have one more lower setting for styling. Now of course the diffuser can be added to lower the airspeed, but it brings the noise decibels up so high that it's not usable. At least not for someone interested in protecting their hearing. I love how light it is and how small it is. And it comes in really nice packaging. If it had a true low airspeed setting it would be perfect hair dryer.
