Great portable swamp cooler.
This portable air conditioner is a game-changer. The 3-in-1 functionality, acting as a swamp cooler and evaporative air cooler, is a clever design, offering flexibility depending on your needs and the environment. The 4 modes and 3 speeds provide ample control over the cooling experience, allowing you to customize it to your preference. The 2-gallon water tank is a great size, ensuring long cooling periods, and the 12-hour timer is a convenient feature for energy-saving. The remote control is a welcome addition, offering easy operation from a distance, and the maximum 20 FT/S airflow is effective in circulating cool air throughout the room. The setup was straightforward, and the unit is relatively easy to move around. It's perfect for small to medium-sized rooms as I have been using it in my office and the evaporative cooling works well in drier climates. Overall, this portable air conditioner is a practical and efficient solution for staying cool. It's a great alternative to traditional air conditioners, particularly for spaces where window installation isn't feasible.

Does Not Work At All
My only regret is that I cannot give this product zero stars. The price was right and it looked like it would work great for my tiny bedroom. So tiny in fact, that, I can only fit a single wide bed, a small dresser, and a tray table next to my bed. This thing is a total waste of money! I did all the setup correct. This product actually blew hot air into the room! It made the room even hotter by at least 10 degrees! And now, after only a few days of useage, I am returning it. For a partial refund! What a complete and total waste of time and money. And this is why,,,, you DO NOT BUY ELECTRICAL ANYTHING off of AMAZON. Obviously the seller of this item knows it is a piece of garbage, but, lied in the online description. DO NOT BUY THIS! You will lose money and roast like a egg on a hot sidewalk in the Sierra Desert

Not quite right
I didn't want one that you have to put water in. I live in Oregon there's no need to add more water to the air. I thought I was purchasing a portable AC. The only instructions is a quick set up. I have a red light and no idea what it means. I will probably return this the description wasn't clear on this item. Tried to upload a picture but it doesn't work. **Update** It runs out of water pretty quickly the ice packs don't stay frozen long enough. I did find the instructions book it was in the water reservoir tucked in where it couldn't be seen. Now it's wet. When you have the ice packs it is pretty cool but it doesn't stay cool. I will be using it in a small bedroom and I'm sure it'll be cool then. I think for the price it was a decent purchase. Unless it breaks I'll be keeping it. And I am pleased it has a remote. The description should have been better written. It is NOT an air conditioner it's a portable swamp cooler.

It helped but not really
I think I could have gotten another unit and had a better outcome. The fan is strong but if your room is above let’s say 75 you don’t really get any real cooling or temperature change. The amount of effort to get ice and freeze the packs isn’t worth it. Spend a little more and get a window unit. The remote was definitely a nice touch this may work really well is a pantry sized room or bathroom. Even for my small bedroom it wasn’t good enough. 3 stars because it did something and maybe if it was taller maybe would have done more with it would have had better air flow. But I think I could have spent a little more and had a better solution. Was also a little loud but not unbearable, I needed as much power coming from this as possible. I would have returned it but I missed the window. Just so much work and cleaning for little to no relief.

Actually replaces my AC (mostly)!
Honestly didn't think this would work as well as it does, but this little unit has kept me from running my expensive central AC most days. It's not going to freeze you out like traditional AC, but it drops the temp enough in my bedroom and office that I'm comfortable. The best part? My electric bill barely moved. I was spending a fortune on AC before, and now I only turn it on during the worst heat waves. This thing uses like 65W compared to my energy-hogging AC unit. Super easy setup - literally just plug and go. The remote and quiet operation are nice bonuses, but the real win is how much money I'm saving on electricity while still staying cool. For apartments or smaller spaces, this is a solid AC alternative that actually works. Just crack a window like they suggest - makes all the difference!

Water pump broke, A/C no longer works after a few short months.
A/C worked ok, had to put alot of ice in the water tray to be even remotely cold. The water pump stopped working after a few short months. It was used daily but the unit was expensive enough that it should have lasted longer. DO NOT BUY.

Not sure.
So I live in a house where there is no AC I do have a swamp cooler. I bought this cause my youngest child room gets up to 80 even though the swamp cooler is on and she has fans in her room. I thought this would help. My biggest mistake was ordering before summer and didn't check it out. One of the wheels was broken so it kind of sits lop sided. I followed the instructions to a T. If your in front of it yes it feels cool but it didn't cool down the room that I would like. I did have someone in HVAC tell me that with those the window is suppose to be closed and close the door, even though that's not what the instructions said. I did it to see cause my kid takes naps in there and its so hot. It didn't work the air felt way more stuffy and thick. I really just use it towards my kid so she is not sweaty while sleeping and that works. Other than that keeping the room cool not really

A Lifesaver!
This summer has been HOT, and my air conditioner has been struggling to keep up. I purchased this portable air conditioner and it has been a life saver! It took only minutes to set up and is small enough to not be in the way. Its quiet while running and keeps our main living area cool and comfortable! It does require water but is easy to fill and empty, as well as easy to clean. This is 100% worth having!
