Blue Buffalo Wilderness Rocky Mountain Recipe High Protein Natural Adult Dry Dog Food, Bison with Grain 28 LB Bag

Vet recommended a novel food for our dogs. I had never heard of this before, but basically, its a food that isnt Beef, Chicken, or Salmon. Novel protiens are Duck, Venison, and Bison. Our dogs gobble it down twice each day. Their coats continue to shine, and we have no digestive issues. The only thing I wonder about is how its actually made. Ive heard that some of the kibble manufactures use very high heat during their cooking process, and that destroys some of the good benefits of the food. I cant say that Ive seen any difference over Merrick or the regular Life Pieces Blue Buffalo. Quality seems good, and you cant tell freshness with kibble, but the product looks OK out of the bag. The only thing I would like to see is a larger package offered. Thats why I gave it the 4 star rating (would have made it 4 1/2 if I could). Something along the line of 30+ pounds. And a larger quantity may make the price per pound less to the consumer. Mine lasts about 3 weeks, and that makes it difficult to do a monthly order for replenishment.

I really like this dog food for my GSD. She was on the thin side and was burning up more energy than she was eating. So I did a lot of research and decided to change to this specific food. I've tried From, Merrick etc and I wanted a grain inclusive diet. My girl had no stomach issues, but I switched over to this over a 4 week period. Ingredients are great plus added joint support. I wish it was a bit cheaper but I haven't found anything even comparable to this product at a better price.

My Golden Retriever has allergies to Chicken so we tried Blue Mountain Wilderness. We have been giving it to our boy for about a year and his allergies seem to be much better.

Best food for my Siberian Huskies!

Bentley has been on this food most of his life. He is 7 years old and especially loves the bison, beef and salmon flavors. He is a healthy boy and we couldn’t be happier with this dog food.
