Maybelline New York Color Sensational Ultimatte Lipstick, More Cedar, 1.7g

I've dark pigmented lips. I expected it to be so dark but it's not that much. It's a Lil reddish dark brown. Will look dark on light toned lips. Very rich quality, very comfortable, durable and smooth. It's almost close to Swiss beauty Harsheys. I hope they make more dark brown shade in this range for dark pigmented lips. Overall so pretty and hussle free.

Good nd useful product

Ordered it twice...loved the shade and formula when I purchased first..but when I ordered again I found the color of new lipstick is slightly reddish and the packaging was also not so clean..more cedar is a brown tone whereas the one I got was more reddish..I don't know if it's a genuine product that I received the second time

Shade :- More Ceddar 188 The shade I received was quite different from what was shown in the pictures. It was advertised as a dark maroon-brown tone, but the actual product turned out to be more of a plain dark red. This was a bit misleading and disappointing in terms of shade accuracy. That said, the lipstick formula itself is good — it applies smoothly, has decent pigmentation, and feels comfortable on the lips. I would still recommend purchasing it directly from the brand’s official website for better authenticity and shade clarity. Also, a note for those with yellow undertones or medium-dusky skin tones: the shade may appear much redder than expected instead of giving a maroonish finish, especially when applied on the lips (even if it looks nice while swatching).

Love the color love how soft it goes on it stays on sometimes but when you eat it gets rubbed off easily. I would say it stays on when you don’t eat so it stays on like for a good 8 hours. It’s honestly not moisturizing but it’s not dry either like I feel like it’s applied on very smoothly thought the application is easy. It lasted me some good months I can’t lie, until it broke when it started to get short.

Color is a beautiful. I love to pair it with gloss. I do want to say it is not moisturizing and if you are a constant lip smacker (like me) it will dry your lips. If you’re not this is for you.

I love this lipstick, rusty color, matte, long lasting. Was truly grateful for the model selection when reviewing this product. It helped seeing a Latina/ Indian woman modeling it to get a sense of the true color when applied. Thank you Amazon and Maybelline for that one!

More Cedar is my FAVORITE color and this matte lipstick is superb! Its a slim tube of matte lipstick, intensely pigmented (as advertised - yay!) and feels high quality to me. Its easy to apply precisely, and a little goes a long way. It stays on well all day. It has a rich matte ("Ultimatte") texture, occasionally I add gloss on top - and it still lasts all day (even after the gloss is gone). I love it so much that I bought 2 more right away - I am stocking up! (Hopefully Maybelline will NEVER discontinue the color More Cedar, but, alas, that's been known to happen.)
