Nice little multi tool for the money. Very solid construction, Super sharp blade, nice tools for a quick pinch situation. Best suited to place on keychain. Knife is solid construction expected from Kershaw. Has bottle opener and flat head screw driver tool.

I've had the Pub for just over a year now, and I really like the thing. It lives on my car key. It's more a piece of vaguely functional art than a knife. Most people who like gadgets would enjoy having one, but this isn't likely to replace _any_ knife you own/use/carry. Here's the thing: _great_ edge and nifty feel . . . but a real hassle to open. If you're not using the exposed opening in the rotating blade to hang it from your belt loop or car keys (which is the designed purpose of this opening), you can awkwardly rotate the blade open with one hand. If you ARE using the opening to keep the Pub attached to your keys or belt loop, you just flat cannot - at least not without giving it as much visual attention as a Rubik's Cube puzzle (remember those?). The edge is not especially useful, though it's good and sharp and appears decently durable - the thing is that there's not much to keep the user's fingers away from the sharp. The little flat screwdriver blade/pry bar is something that I use more than the blade itself: it's not _good_ for anything in particular, but it's _adequate_ for a lot of things and it's easily accessible while the Pub is still attached to my keys. I have only used the bottle opener a couple times and I had to deliberately remember to do that because I just never open a beer bottle when I have my car keys on me. My take is that the bottle opener is poorly designed: it's easily accessible without opening the blade (while the Pub is attached for carry), but it just doesn't _fit_ a bottle cap well. (Any SAK bottle opener works much better.) You can get the bottle open, but why wouldn't I simply use any of the other half-dozen _better_ bottle-opening tools I'm likely to have around when it's Beer-Thirty? But this all sounds negative - the truth is that I think you should buy this thing. It's just nifty. There's a feel to it that makes me happy, and I inwardly smile every time I see it. Sinkovich has a gem here, and where else are you going to be able to buy a piece of his artwork for $15? I'd recommend the blue because it looks friendly. I'm attaching a photo (I used it to cut some truffles after supper yesterday) so you can see how it wears after a year attached to keys.

Cute little blade with a bonus pry-thingy/ screw driver and bottle opener. Doesn't even scare the snowflakes at work. It is sharp enough for menial tasks ( boxes, cordage, etc) and can be sharpened easily which is good as as it is not one of those super steels. Want better steel? Fork up for a Benchmade. It will shave hair even after taking down a few boxes and usually only needs a few strops to bring it back. For what it is I definitely recomend.

I am a sucker for weird knives. This one is truly weird. The quality is very good as I would expect from Kershaw. The only thing I don't like about it is the bottle opener. I don't know why knife makers have to include a bottle opener on everything now. The knife came pretty sharp but after a couple of minute of sharpening it is real sharp. Neat design, keep up the good work Kershaw.

The good: It's a very very cool little knife. Most folks that see me use it ask where I got it and want to try it out. It's a great size for a keychain too and that makes it easy to have handy when you need it. The blade shape is perfect and is easy to sharpen, since there's no belly on the blade. The bottle opener is in a handy spot, so you don't have to take the knife off your keychain to open a beer. The pivot screw is buttery smooth when the blade is opening and closing, yet has a very well engineerd catch that holds in the open or closed position extremely well despite the lack of a locking mechanism. By it's design, it's impossible to have this knife close up on you while you're using it, because the caribiner folds up into the handle. So, you're holding it open when you grip the handle. I've never had it accidentally open in my pocket or on a keyring. The bad: this knife is kind of awkward to open. They tried to make it easier by putting jimping on the spine of the blade for your finger and a groove near the pivot screw for your thumb, but it still requires a second hand to pinch the handle to hold it still while you open it. I would still give it 5 stars, despite the awkwardness, if they would have put a finger groove or some jimping on the other side of the handle where your index finger rests when holding the knife. I think it's too small to hold comfortably without one, because your finger rests too close to blade.

This is a super knife for use at work. We have a brewery restaurant and I bought one for each of our managers - the combination of a box cutter type blade (no pointed end so lower risk of cuts), bottle opener and screwdriver in an easy to carry pocket knife is great. Highly recommended - Kershaw makes really good knives for the money.

This is a surprisingly handy little knife. It's just enough for an EDC, and the screwdriver/pry feature is useful more than you'd think. It's possible to open it one handed quickly and eas easily once you figure out how, but I've never figured out a good way to close it one handed. The size and shape are such that non-knife-people aren't weirded out when you use it, and it's cheap enough that if you forget you have it at the airport you're not crushed to see it go. If there's a downside, it doesn't hold an edge all that well, but it tunes up quickly.
