At 75 years old, I wobble when i walk, this is better than a cane for me. it’s attractive, makes me look cool; very nicely made; sturdy; no assembly; the grip is comfortable; versatile for both hands; I feel steady with confidence in walking; height was perfect; great for balance and allows me to have a slight pivot w/o fear of falling. Great value. Thanks

I'm 5'11 and this is the perfect height. As I'm old, it truly is a help on my daily walks and it's heavy enough to ward off animals. Quality is excellent and helps me keep my balance. It is also quit beautiful, like a work of art.

This absolutely phenomenal Vive Wooden Walking Stick has been a tremendous help in helping me to deal with a pinched nerve in my back. I've had back issues for most of my adult life, but this is the first time I've had a pinched nerve, and if you're not familiar or experienced with the issue, let me tell you it's WAY different than just a pulled muscle or something like that. With the back issues I've had before just some rest, light duty, and heating pad usage for a while and I was usually good to go. Pinched nerves are comparatively not that easy to deal with. In my case, I can barely walk, and when I do it's almost in an almost lurching movement due to the pain. I hadn't considered a cane or other assistive device until my physical therapist recommended it. It has definitely been a game changer. While my Vive Wooden Walking Stick was slightly curved, that in no way affected its sturdiness or ease of use. It states in the description that it "is meticulously crafted from willow tree bark". I personally have NEVER seen a tree branch, or really any part of a tree, that has been ruler straight. Straight lines and things constructed with straight lines is a human invention/construct. So I found complaints/reviews about the Vive Walking Stick not being straight as kind of ridiculous. Yes, there are other wooden walking sticks that are perfectly straight, but they are usually made by processing them down and removing and wasting a lot of good material. These are made using the natural curve and strength of the wood while letting it's true beauty shine. My Vive Walking Stick is very similar in appearance to the one pictured, although as I mentioned before it does contain a slight curvature. It's obvious it was carved by hand by the minor imperfections that are inherent during such a process. I feel it adds to it's look and charm rather than any sort of detriment. I am 5'9" and ordered the 48" size and I feel it's a perfect fit for me. A nice size length wise that allows me to use it that feels almost natural, while not being too thick to grasp and control. I have, at times, placed considerable weight/stress on the stick and I have never felt any sort of give or bending that made me question it's sturdiness. In that respect it has performed admirably each and every time. The rubber tip has provided excellent traction on a variety of surfaces and appears to be of a "standard" size when I compared them to replacement ones I've found in stores. So, overall, I found my purchase to be an extremely good choice and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Vive Wooden Walking Stick to anyone. In fact I have recommended it to my 80 something year old father-in-law who has hip and knee problems. THAT's how much confidence and trust I have in this product. A truly exceptional product in looks, strength, and functionality. This is one of those rare products that if I could give it 10 stars I would.

Tried using a cane and it didn’t help. This wooden walking stick is so much better, as it helps to stabilize my walk. My legs numb and I battle chronic pain and needed this for balance and to help keep me from falling. It works for what I needed. It’s sturdy, strong, just the right size and very classy looking. I get a lot of compliments for the look and style.
