Learning curve but works PERFECTLY
After 2 days with the Luba 2 Mini I was ready to figure out how to return it. I got on Reddit's Mammotion group and got the advice I needed to make this thing work flawlessly. You have a stationary RTK unit and the mower, both receiving GPS.GPS works by the satellite sending a signal encoded with the time to the nanosecond that the signal was sent. The GPS Receiver notes how long it takes from transmit to receive and uses this information from several satellites to calculate where it's at.When a GPS signal passes through something, like a leaf or a wall of a house it is ever so slightly delayed. It can even sometimes bounce. The RTK's purpose is to have a perfect view of the GPS satellites and tell the mower how to correct for that slight delay when the mower passes near a wall or a fence or whatever. Because the RTK has a perfect view of the satellites and doesn't experience the delay that the mower, which is moving near your house or fence, will experience. So, if you stick the RTK in your yard on the north side of your home but it cannot see over the roofline then the south side GPS satellites are broadcasting through your roof. So now you go mow your north side of your yard and everything works great because the RTK is seeing the north satellites fine and the mower is too. It mows perfectly. Then the mower goes to the south side of your home.On the south side of your home the mower is seeing north satellites through your roofline and south satellites perfectly, no roofline. The RTK is seeing north satellites perfectly still but it sees south satellites through your roofline. What does the RTK do?RTK has good north view so it can tell the mower how to fix for the roofline delay for north satellites.RTK has a bad south view and tells the mower to fix for a delay in south satellites that doesn't exist for the mower.See the problem? Now the RTK is telling the mower to correct for a delay that the mower is not experiencing. So now the mower ends up all confused and ends up stopping or driving where it shouldn't.So, the solution. The RTK 100% MUST be in perfect view of north, south, east, west without significant blockage of any kind. That is probably on top of your roof. Which sounds like a pain but man, once done, this thing is so reliable. It just mows and mows, goes back to it's charger, picks up where it left off, daytime, night time, it don't care. It just mows.

Checks all the boxes, does everything well. Highly recommend.
This is the first robotic mower I've ever owned or tried personally, although I'm a tech enthusiast in general. I really love this model. It took me hours of research and watching review videos and comparing features before I came to the decision to buy the Luba Mini but I'm super happy with the decision. It has everything I wanted in a robotic mower. Some of the key things I wanted were:1. High cut height for Florida grass types that thrive best in the 3.5 to 4" range.2. Pleasing aesthetics - some mowers are just ugly, lacking in the visual appeal that I wanted3. Easy maintenance - since I'm a busy guy, I really wanted a set it and forget it solution and this really does achieve this goal. Only minor periodic maintenance required.4. High quality app with a good user experience - check5. Enough battery to cut my whole back yard without needing to stop and recharge. Mostly a check, sometimes it needs a recharge but I have some ideas to fix that, as I think its caused by a steep grade in my yard. Changing the cut angle should solve that and alleviate the extra strain of that grade thus using less power.6. Don't cut when its raining - check - this model has a rain sensor and won't cut during a scheduled time if its raining.7. Big enough to cut efficiently and within a relatively short time, but not so big that it looks ugly or oversized for my relatively small yard.8. AI vision - I wanted something that was using modern smart tech for obstacle avoidance and edge precision. The vision features of the mower help it mow more precisely and more accurately avoid obstacles.9. Loudness - this thing is super quiet, you can barely hear it just a few feet away. Its totally silent if you're indoors, you'll only know your yard was mowed if you see the mower moving around, otherwise its just magic :)10. Handle a grade - it needed to have enough power to handle a decently noticeable grade in the yard, while I'm not sure what rating of a grade my yard has, its pretty steep and this mower handles it just fine, no issues.11. Minimize yard damage - the wheels on this model don't damage the yard, it won't dig in and tear up the grass when making turns if you enable the zero-turn option. Its highly maneuverable.12. It needed to have space on the chassis to support the installation of googly eyes, to go along with the personality of the aesthetic design. This model has personality, and definitely has some good spots to install googly eyes. Highly recommend you do the same. Oh and give it a fun name. Mine is "M-O" taken from Wall-E based on one of the service bots from the Axiom.I can't say enough good things about this mower, it checked all my boxes, does everything I need it to do very well and as long as it keeps doing those things well - I'll be a happy customer. Well-done Mammotion!
