Elijah's Xtreme Regret Hot Sauce - Carolina Reaper and Trinidad Scorpion - The 2 Hottest Peppers in the World for an Extreme Fiery Heat

This sauce tastes pretty good, not spectacular but definitely has some flavor, and it doesn't use any capsaicin extract which is awesome. That said, it isn't that spicy, and for a product called "XTREME REGRET" I would have expected something much hotter. It's a bit less spicy than Melinda's Ghost Pepper sauce, and way less spicy than BWW Blazin or Daves Hot Chicken Reaper level, and I was expecting something closer to that level. Definitely worth a shot though and many who don't want insane heat will probably like it. It's got that ghost pepper taste, not very fruity, a bit smokey, and I've enjoyed it so far.

The first time I tried this hot sauce, I got a little bit of the sweats, which was great. But each subsequent time, even though I paint this on my omelets, it's really not that hot. I get some nose blowing, but I don't have to reach for refreshments to simmer down the heat. It has good flavor, but then again Carolina Reaper is the pepper with the best flavor. Considering where this pepper is on the scoville, this should be and could be hotter. I've had hot sauces on my thai rice dishes that have given more kick, and if I'm lathering this on and it's still not kicking my ass, then there's hotter out there. Hate to say it, but the Hot Sauce Lab, which puts out a walmart variety pack at Christmas time, gave me a more flavorful and slightly warmer hot sauce. And that shouldn't happen.

This sauce is spicy. The type of spiciness that gets hotter as seconds pass. Flavor is decent. Don't be afraid to try it. It's going to be hot, but at least you tried it. It you want something more potent then go with an extract. Just wish the flavor had more flavoring otherwise it is 5 out of 5 stars for spiciness for me.

I enjoyed the flavor of this hot sauce. It’s well-balanced. However, despite featuring two of the hottest peppers in the world, it wasn’t quite as fiery as I expected. For someone who really likes intense heat, it leans more toward flavorful than extreme. Still a solid choice, just not the hottest out there.

Not too hot, I’ve had worse but the flavor is good. I’d buy it again
